something I have to add (and it will sound so stupid to most of you): but I listened to the catalyst for the first time while being totaly drunk and I found so much new in that song... not that I want you to drink and listen to that song, but it showed me how much details are in it that you can't hear in the first place...

It sounds like Chester is struggling on some parts on PTB, and I hate the guitar sound especially the main riff. But other than that, I like it. Not as much as TC though.

The vocals, imo, just aren't as strong in PTB as in TC.

Also, TC is just so catchy, makes me want to sing along..

PTB.. is ever so slightly boring. -shrug-

I do agree about the riffs, though.

Demo review: It's raw, real raw. It's ok, but it's definatly not great. This song makes them sound like Coldplay or another mainstream pop-rock act. Honestly, I think The Catalyst is much better than this.

Road trip? If we could get a bunch of people from the south to go together, it may cost us less I want to go pretty bad myself, but I'll be heading to Port Ewen, NY on the 17th for a chinchilla show and it's too bad I'm not going to the area earlier as it would be much much easier and cheaper than having to drive back and forth to NY twice in the same week. But I've gotta find a way to go.

That'd be bitchin.. but as it stands.. it's just too short notice for me.

If it weren't for my mum being all.. "Let's try and go to NY!" I would have just not even bothered with the idea of possibly going.

They're far from perfect, but I like the rawness of it.

EDIT: I am actually happy that Mike is "lead" singer on this one. I always considered Mike the lead vocalist, and then MTM fucked it up. Keep chester secondary, let him save his voice for some badass growls and shit.
