  1. At a live show in Tuscan, Arizona in 2003, Brad and Joe swapped instruments to play the song "A.06". There is a picture of the incident in the "From The Inside: Linkin Park's Meteora" book.

I actually have the book. where is the photo. The only thing i can see if Brad 'fretting' Phoenix's bass. Other then that i dont see a Brad and Joe swap :)

I have it too.. and I haven't seen said picture either.

  2. Then again, it may make it worse for people seeing Chester get mutilated.

It will, because people around here don't seem to realize it's just a movie.

Personally, it won't bother me one bit.

Doesn't make me a bad person or anything. v.v

Also, for any of you who want any artist to go back to their old style:

YOU try to consciously regress to the exact same mindset and line of thinking you had ten years ago. YOU try ignoring all of your personal growth and changes in taste in the past ten years. I know I sure can't. If someone told me right now to play guitar and write music the same way I did even five years ago, I'd laugh in their face and tell them where to shove it. I can't even THINK the same way I did five years ago, I've grown so much as a person and my tastes are almost a complete about-face. And even if the case is not as extreme for them, any amount of time will cause a person to think differently and grow. Asking them to forget all of that for your sake... it's kind of insulting, actually.

You don't have to like their change in style, but you can sure as hell respect them for not just pandering to fan and label expectations, and for making the art they want to make.

    Fucking. This.

  4. Okay, I haven't said anything about any of your posts in a really long time, but it's really starting to get annoying. Every single post you have is something negative about Linkin Park. You haven't liked anything since The Rising Tied which was in 2005 pretty much. Why are you still an active member on LP fansites then? Obviously they are not going to go back to the Hybrid Theory sound...

  5. Yes you are right, because Chesters father was died on a Valentines day. The lyrics and specially the end of the song stands for the funeral of his father and the deep feelings about his situation after the death. Sry for my bad english:-)

I hope everyone here think differnet now about this powerfull and deepfeeling song.

I had never heard of that.. :<

  6. While I agree on the whole moaning about Valentine's Day at the end of the song (that's what ruins the song for me IMO), up until that point the lyrics are beautiful. To be honest, I don't interpret the song as "being alone on a Valentine's Day" at all. I think it's deeper than that, but that's just me.

^^ to the member above, I see we have very similar thoughts on this subject.

Yes, it seems so. And I agree about the ending of VD. That's why it isn't particularly one of my favorites.

This is Making me LOL so hard. some people have been on the pot since meteora came out. Jez.

    "This" meaning?

Also.. it's funny you say that. Chester said he wanted us to feel as though we were on drugs while listening to ATS. XD

  7. I never said vd had emo lyrics. I just don't like that is complaining about being alone on valentines day. I still like the song but think the lyrics could have been better. There not horrible lyrics but there by no means great either

Eh, someone said emo, maybe it wasn't you.

Still. Crawling is even more whiny sounding and complaining than VD will ever be.

And I don't think the song is about someone being alone on Valentine's Day. If you listen closely to the lyrics, "And the ground below grew colder, as they put you down inside."

I believe there's a much deeper meaning than what you realize.

  8. We all have opinions on what is good lyrics. Runaway I agree has bad lyrics. But I think One Step Closer has great lyrics. Also, I just think vd, the lyrics are stupid. He's complaining about being alone on valentines day. Well boo hoo no one cares. I'm always a lone on valentines day. I just don't care for thoose lyrics. IMO meteora good lyrics- don't stay, SIB, lying from you (somewhat), easier to run, faint, BTH, figure.09, From the Inside, NL, Numb. Mtm good lyrics- Given Up, LOATR, hands held high, what I've done, in pieces, in between, tltgya (somewhat) Although I like the lyrics to NMS I don't think it's meaningful. I just think it has fun lyrics to sing. Hybrid Thoery good lyrics- One Step Closer, Points of Authority, Crawling, In the End, A Place For My Head (beginning part), and pushing me away. This is my opinion.

Okay. OSC lyrics aren't that good.

And you complain about VD being emo and shit... look at Crawling.

    Crawling in my skin?

These wounds they will not heal?

    That beats VD in emoness.

  9. wretches and kings is building up to be a really solid track.

that'd be awesome if WAK became the new APFMH for live shows hahaha. (one guy, i forget his name, who went to the warner bros listening said it will "MELT FACE" live)

I think my face melted just from hearing that ESPN clip.
