Thats exactly what that means, Pitch correcting Auto-tune. Horrible invetion, gives untalented people seem like there good, but it can be used for good purposes.

i can understand where you are coming from KitsuneInferno, but a lot of what you said contradicts itself... it almost seems as though you're not quite sure what to make of it yet? which is completely understandable.

as for chart success - within hours it has shot up to #116 on the aussie itunes charts and seems to be increasing every time i have a look. at this rate it'll be in the top 50 by the end of the day/tomorrow.

 

anyone care to hazard a guess as to when the video will drop?

I have a feeling that it will be inbetween the album release and the single drop so towards the end of august is my guesstimate.

how do you guys think it'll do on the Billboard charts?

I reckon it will do quite well, but then you never know with the Billboard charts, I have been quite suprised by there charts.

And to everyone who thinks LPs 'magnum opus' years were the nu-metal era: Critically they were mixed and were mostly loved by teens and angry kids. That's why even today i get the "oh i liked their first album" thing. Thing is a lot of the kids who listened to HT went on to metal and now dislikes LP, so they hate Meteora and hate MTM simply because LP made it. Now obviously some of those kids who turned to metal stuck with LP and are now the ones who cry about the lack of guitar and screaming. Thing is apart from 2 songs on MTM there were no real head bangers there anyway so it was obvious that they were moving away from the load, rough and screaming type of music. It's been coming for a while so stop being wishful thinkers and start living in reality and either embrace it or leave LP for good because i promise you they wont go back to their roots nor will they make another very heavy album.

Guys whatever you say, I feel this album was something on a personal level, they wasn't trying to impress the fans as such, they were doing whatever felt right to them, and it seem to test them and take them to new creative ideas, aslong as this album feels like they enjoy it, then I shall enjoy it to.

Chester and Mike are co-frontmen. They both perform vocals and they both address the crowd live, so I'd say they both fit the definition of a frontman.

Nit picking. Chester performs most of vocals espically on MTM, and yes they may address the crowd live together but, everywhere you read it will be "Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington"

lol @ noone believing this. I'm telling you, it's as real as it gets, considering it comes from an official WB website, but believe what you want. They release stuff like this early on the sites so retailers/media can preorder it and all that. I actually don't know if it has the title on there or not, just a date.
