no, it was a demo for the new album that they didn't like. he said it on one of their interviews for MFR.

that's exactly what i've been thinking for a long time. from wikipedia....it says they had an original 17 tracks for MTM but took off 5. Where Blackbirds, Across the Line, QWERTY, and No Roads Left were 4 of the 5 and Not Alone was a demo for the new album. They might just release the b-sides or release them in LPU11 or something...doubt they'll have it in LPU10. too soon with the new album

it's been rumored by the hahninator that there will be 13 tracks. i'm guessing it'll be 12 tracks and 1 instrumental like the original? i don't see LP as the bonus track type....but they could eventually release more songs like b-sides....they basically always do. though i was hoping for 15 tracks like the original MTM

Yeah....but for now it's just a guess since we can't even find the article. and lately, especially over at LPA....there's been a lot of BS going on. People were posing as people from the german mag or knowing details with the album

doubt that's true. i went onto MTV and there was no such news as that there. It seems like a lot of people now are just bullshitting things to yield there own boredom. I highly doubt the release date would be revealed by MTV instead of LP. Plus MTV has gotten things wrong before....for now we have two sources: - German Mag....Sept. - MTV....Oct. (that one doesn't even have proof what so ever)

just wait till tomorrow....don't be so obsessed and enjoy you're daily lives. I'm sure by tomorrow there will be something new. i know it's nerve racking and all along with all the anticipation but there's really no point staring at nothing. most probably, there's nothing there. we've been looking at it all day and the best we've gotten is an elephant (which we wouldn't have even thought of if it weren't for phoenix)

i doubt it...looks like to me as if someone just took a picture of their profile on LP.com the photo doesn't even show the words linkin park...which should be on the front page instead of the band's picture.

yeah i understand you there. It just that MTM did follow a theme, and it was best described as the doomsday clock. thats why mike picked it....but there was a universal theme in that album. and if i remember correctly, mike said theme lyrical theme of this album was to "Not Suck???" dunno if that was mike messing with us or if he was being serious at the same time

LP concept albums are different from other bands. It's not as much a story then just a central theme. like MTM, it refers to the doomsday clock the whole album but no overall plot. now for the sonic part, that's just the genre and sound of the album i think...i don't think it's the sonic way of the lyrics..

i just took the main image in the message and edited it a bit. for now all i can tell is that there's a whole bunch of squares and a giant rectangle on the left EDIT: the image color doesn't not represent the color of the actual album

you know what i'm really curious about? usually with artwork being unveiled....they're a still image. But mike's is a continuous moving image....that makes it different by a lot.
