  3. Ah sweet, thanks for the heads up. I can't wait for it already
  4. Thank you! I can't wait to have a watch. Is there any chance we could get a download?
  5. After downloading and watching all the links that you've provided, these are definitely the rough cuts. Thank you so much for them too. I have just gone through and watched all these and they've given me so many smiles and laughs. I can't believe how long ago all this was. I still remember picking up Minutes to Midnight from the local department store on the day it came out and watching all the original final LPTV cuts on YouTube and the behind the scenes from the deluxe MTM book / DVD. I really do miss the days when we did have limited access to everything so whenever we did get something it was so exciting. LPTV and LPUTV videos were only available on their original platforms and it was so exciting when they were released, it'd be all my mates and I could talk about at school and we'd reference all the shitty jokes for weeks.
  6. I am a bit late on this but wow, I wasn't expecting to see this tbh. I'm actually surprised by everyone's reactions. It's obviously an early mix, it's a lot lighter / simpler in the synth and drums. For as much as I didn't enjoy Good Goodbye when it first came out, I have since come to enjoy it but didn't really feel that Pusha fitted the track that well. I thought Stormzy's flow and verse on the track come off really nice. This is coming from someone who is a long time Pusha fan as well. It's certainly interesting to hear, and even more interesting that it got leaked. I don't think we've had any modern era demo leaks at all, have we?
  7. Thanks for the heads up team! I hopped straight on it once you posted it on Twitter. I can't wait for it to arrive, it's such a simple but beautiful pin and such an awesome daily reminder to #MakeChesterProud too.
  8. Hey Everybody, A few months ago I started a thread to sell some rare merchandise but unfortunately due to work and moving houses, time flew by and I still have this big box of Linkin Park merchandise that needs a home. I am going to post bits and pieces over the next few days as I clear everything out. If you spot something that you'd be interested in, DM me and I'll get back to you as soon as possible with more details, prices etc. Over time, I will be adding everything from a LPU Re-Issue Hybrid Theory EP to a signed Living Things vinyl to a Hybrid Theory t-shirt that I won in an LPU contest from when Linkin Park were actually still called Hybrid Theory. I am happy to figure out shipping to anywhere in the world, so long as you are happy to front the cost for shipping. So check everything out below, keep checking back for more over the next few days and try your luck. I might even throw in some stickers, magazines, or a setlist in a few packs. __ Linkin Park - LIVING THINGS Vinyl [signed] This is a signed copy of LIVING THINGS on vinyl. I bought the vinyl from a JB Hi-Fi in Wellington, New Zealand, and got it signed at the Auckland, New Zealand Summit in 2013. The vinyl is a plain white colour. __ Linkin Park - Faint 7" This is the picture disc 7" of Faint, backed with Lying From You [Live]. __ Hybrid Theory - Hybrid Theory EP [LPU1 Reissue] This is the LPU1 reissue of the Hybrid Theory EP. __ Hybrid Theory T-Shirt This is a legitimate Hybrid Theory era t-shirt that I won from an LPU contest as hosted by Adam. __ Linkin Park - LPU9 12" This is a limited edition, numbered LPU9 12" picture disc vinyl. It is numbered 0712 / 1000. N.B. I will video any records playing and send them to you if you are worried about audio quality. __ Fort Minor - Petrified / Remember The Name 12" This is a promotional 12" of Fort Minor's Petrified and Remember The Name - including clean versions, dirty versions, and instrumentals. __ I have a few things I need to go and do right now, but I will continue to add more items here tomorrow. I will be replying to messages for the next four or so hours before I pick things up again tomorrow. Cheers Thanks for you interest so far everyone. I will continue to post items later today.
  9. The Hybrid Theory one is XL if I'm not mistaken.
  10. Hey Fam, It's been a few years since I have logged in (and I am not sure whether this is the right place to do it?) however I have a few things that might interest you. I am currently saving up to fix up my late grandfather's truck, for travel, for university, etc. and am looking to sell some of my Linkin Park merchandise I have collected over the years. Among the list is a Hybrid Theory t shirt from when Linkin Park were still called Hybrid Theory, a signed copy of Living Things on vinyl, a Hybrid Theory EP (the LPU1 reissue), and a few other bits and pieces that are not quite as rare such as the Faint 7", numbered Crawling CD / DVD single, and LPU merch. I will start posting a few things up over the next few days but I thought I would gauge interest to see whether or not this is something worth doing here. Cheers.
  11. Stay is performed by Abandon Jalopy. Abandon Jalopy is the solo project from Blind Melon's bassist, Brad Smith. I Don't Need Her is performed by Freddy Monday. Freddy Monday also wrote and performed an original song for JOBS. The Music Collective house numerous writers and performers who all assist in songwriting, performing and producing tasks which mainly include soundtracks. Cory Rooney is included in The Music Collective's line up. He has worked on the latest Michael Jackson album as well as working with Jennifer Lopez, Destiny's Child, Mary J. Blige and much more. Most other performers on the soundtrack are lesser known artists. Last Forever is performed by Jamie Pellington and Trino Madriz who previously worked together on Where I Fly. Last Goodbye is performed by Sugarwall. The Curtain Falls is performed by Alaina Blair. C'Mon C'Mon is performed by Kingsley.
  12. I wasn't referring to Machine Gun Kelly. I was referring to:
  13. "A lot of bands are afraid to align with one another on record and on tour. Maybe it’s a credibility issue, or a snobbery issue, or maybe it’s just because rock bands are loners. Whatever the case, everyone else in every popular genre gets it, and they’re reaping the benefits." - Mike Shinoda There is no reason to spread hate about one rock band when you enjoy another. If they're not your style, that's cool, leave them be. If Linkin Park want to associate themselves with other rock bands, power to them.
  14. You can read all about it, and their two competitors for first place here: http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6133901/lana-del-rey-lands-first-no-1-album-on-billboard-200 This is the first time since Hybrid Theory that their album has not debuted at No. 1. It is also less than half the first week sales of LIVING THINGS.
  15. This album cycle has definitely been the most fun to follow since I started following the band. The band seem to be trying hard to earn their fans for this album. What they've done with the iHeartRadio & KROQ / Red Bull shows has been really personable and a great way to try to connect with old and news fans alike. The setlists have been really great for the fans. Now the Warped Tour show, and pulling on guests, has been so fun and also shows how the band is trying to earn their fans one show (and collaboration) at a time. The Hunting Party is not only a great album name, but a great description for their marketing tactics / the way they have handled the release so far.
  16. This was a really special show. There was nothing too exciting about the setlist but the conversations between the interviewer and the band were funny. Throughout an album cycle, they will always use the same quips (the talk about Ollie Sykes, name dropping Meshuggah, the word "visceral") so no interview will be too exciting so it's always great to hear some banter like Chester yarning about party pants and when Phoenix mentioned the house parties yesterday.
  17. When the guitars came in on New Divide, Mike did a double head bang and then realized that it messed up his hair so he slicked it back and gave up haha. I really hope the girl who was videoing when Mike took her phone to film on uploads it. This show was so good. Chester, Rob & Phoenix especially shined. Welcome the world The Hunting Party.
  18. I am really excited to watch the show. An album release show is always going to be great. I'm so thankful that's streaming all day too because I'm on a flight when the show is on. I hope that they throw in a surprise or two.
  19. I know, you're right. I guess I'm just bummed out because I keep writing on the LPU Message Boards + the lp.com forums but there is such little activity, and when there is, there is little to no quality activity. I want to stick around on the boards but I know it's not gonna happen. You're right. You've got to admit though, it sounds silly people leaving something they love because the text history disappears. I know I'm just being lame but we should just be able to rebuild what we have as a community. If something drastic ever happened to LPLive and we lost all the text history, I know I'd want to stick around. Anyway, if they completely remove forums I probably wouldn't complain. I just think it looks awkward when you visit a dead official band forum.
  20. Adam gave me a black pick while on the LIVING THINGS tour. I can't remember what it had on it but I'm visiting my parents tomorrow and I think it's at their house so I'll check it out. It's probably an ATS era pick but I just thought I'd mention.
  21. I don't understand why people get upset about losing their post count or account history. You can still tell people, does it make a difference? People saying that they won't go back just because it changed is the reason it died, no?
  22. Cheers for the info Jonas. One final question, how do you burn the DVD files onto a DVD correctly?
  23. Thanks for that Astat. Does this apply to all digital formats including .ts and the like?
  24. Why are live shows released as "DVDs" rather than just the video file?
