  1. for all the jokes about BTH, this one is really nice to hear/have. it's interesting - it says something about their songwriting/lyrical processes

for example, that the lyrics were originally more about two people than an individual:

"I don't know what we're fighting for or why we have to scream"

"I don't know what's worth fighting for or why I have to scream"

I wonder who chose to re-write that

  2. The artwork is awesome but it doesn't feels Linkinparkish, anyway can't wait the the tracklist! I just want 3 or 4 demos with vocals that's all I need...

the art for this release is no different to THP's, more of James Jean's lucid forms. I quite like it.

Honestly, what good live tracks could they even put on the CD unless it's something really old and rare? The only live track I'd want would be My Own Summer live from PR 2002, and that's actually something realistic.

rare live > demos > Breaking The Habit (Live)

  3. That plus hotel is already quite the expense!

Oh well... trying to find a close decent hotel for the monday!

premier inns and travelodges can be dirt cheap on Mondays since most of their clientele are weekenders, but London's a different kettle of fish entirely. if anything, try to be as far out from the city centre as possible, I'm aware that O2 arena being slap bang in the centre of london will make that difficult, but late tubes/overground services might help (try Transport For London's website)

if you do need to do trains, book them in advance, even a couple of days ahead will save you a few quid

  4. that one track was my first "this is from the show I went to" live treasures on my iPod, so this is... kinda disappointing.

some website (don't remember what it was)

    UKUndercurrent released it, not sonisphere.

there was a sonisphere USB wristband that you could buy prior to the festival that would sync bonus content once you plugged it in after the event. I never found out if there was any LP/DBS stuff included since I lost mine.

  5. FLAC linked

Just extract audio from a video file, no need to encode it multiple times

I prefer to use audacity since it means I can edit stuff easily (for example, on that volume dip) but I have always wondered if there was another way to 'get' the audio. how do you do this?

Can you upload mirror for the mp3 ? Mediafire , maybe ? MEGA has been blocked in India sadly . :(

I'm aware that mega's blocked in a few places. I'm working on mirrors.

    song note:

Brad repeatedly plays a note after Chester's vocal outro to ITE, and continues it right up until he starts APFMH. the note he plays is the 2nd piano note from ITE's intro, and is also the 2nd note (3rd, 4th, 5th pluck) of the intro to APFMH (the note's an octave above the 1st note for both). would that be considered some sort of transition outro/intro since the note is "relevant" to both songs?

    show notes:

    • Chester replaces two alternate screams in the By Myself intro with the phrase "pick 'em up!", having just spent a few moments reminding people to help others who fall down in the pit.
    • Mike switches up the call-and-repeat at the end of Step Up, with the phrase "when I say 'Mister', you say 'Hahn'".
    • before Pushing Me Away, one of the band's technicians had to briefly come onstage to adjust Chester's wireless IEM receiver(?) attached to his belt loop, to which Chester remarked "dude, I'm so fucking sick of you Roger(?)...just sitting there staring at my ass".
    • Mike went into the crowd on the 1st chorus of In The End, and Chester went in during A Place For My Head's bridge.
    • Aaron Lewis' mic wasn't working until a few lines into his part in One Step Closer, he noticably tries to check if the mic is actually switched on.
