  1. Without your advice we're rats or less, master Yoda. We've made this not just to have good critics or being praised, no way, we are aware that we're not musicians but two friends wanting to have fun and hung out, just that. I'm from Madrid (Spain) and he's from Barcelona, don't know if you have any idea about spanish geography, but that's about 600 km, and we were not going to waste money or stuff, I recorded my vocals and stuff with a shit mic from my laptop and I don't know if my friend did the same with the chorus, but I know he did his best to fix the shit sound from a laptop's mic. Just that. We don't want to be mentioned in any web about how much we could do it better, we know it's shit. But go ahead and do it, that's the goal of this topic. Show us, without any shame, what are you capable of. Just that.
  2. I didn't know where should I post it, so here I do. This is a cover from the MTV Scores Mike Shinoda did in 2005, Madison, we've done. He is from Barcelona (David Sanchez Blancas) and I'm from Madrid (Nicholas John Riquelme), Spain. I did the lyrics, put the rap and the screams and I sent it to my friend, that mixed the vocals, put the chorus and make some effects and stuff. So here it is, I hope you like it, it's a demo, tomorrow I'll improve the rap stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKvVsYF8WHw Lyrics by Nicholas John Riquelme (loxias) Rap and screams by Nicholas John Riquelme (loxias) Chorus and melodic vocals by David Sanchez Blancas (davidkyoku) Mixed by David Sanchez Blancas (davidkyoku)
  3. If when they release the brand new album it has bullshit like Valentine's Day, I'll go to L.A., smack Chester, and say 'Where is the LP that was able to do Hybrid Theory? You're gay'
  4. Of course not many bands do that, but between today and 2003, for example, Linkin Park have released two albums, when other bands have done it five times. For example, Dream Theater (a true good music band). I mean, it's not because of the time and their grateful to drop some shit for the fans, everyone got problems and are busy and Linkin Park spend four or five years to give us shit like In Between. What the hell is that? I want some Given Up, some Faint, some Papercut, some No More Sorrow, I understand emotional songs are important, but damn God, Linkin Park in five years have gone out of the stage of big bands that are capable to give a very good material. Now the only nu metal band I'm very hopeful is Deftones.
  5. Hybrid Theory-Reanimation: 2 years Reanimation-Meteora: Hardly 9 months Meteora-MTM: 4 fucking years MTM-4th album: 3+x Today was the day that I've been more fucked up about Linkin Park. I always take seriously what Mike says, Chester is a dopy and he doesn't know what he says, we know him, but Mike never talks much. I think the attempt by Linkin Park from a group that take many things in a short time is nothing. There are groups that take in very little material out: Dream Theater during the break of Meteora-MTM released three albums (Octavarium, Systematic Chaos and Black Clouds & Silver Linings). And I know some of you guys gonna laugh at what I'm gonna say, but My Chemical Romance and bands of that shit kind have released more than LP. Shit, even the fucking Jonas Brothers have four fucking albums in...how many? three years? Let me quote some words which are written in the special edition of Minutes to Midnight, along with the song What I've Done: "After initial listening, however, the band was devastated to hear from friends that the album felt like it was missing [...] A little a piece a week later, the record was officialy ready for release with the addition of 'What I've Done' " And then add another peculiarity more: QWERTY was made, apparently, during the trip to Japan from the United States and finished a day before playing at Summer Sonic 2006. That's all.
  6. Honestly, Brad is not the best guitarist of the world, and I think he doesn't want to be that. Sometimes easy's better than hard.
