  1. We all know that Mike has said many times that they discarded their "nu-metal" sound because it wasn't original anymore & everyone was doing it. So I was thinking if we could compile a list of bands which are influenced by LP in their sound or are a direct LP-ripoff band. I would love to hear some songs which sound like HT/Meteora.

    GO!

  2. If I remember right we won that at the LPU summit in London last year.

We sent out the questions a while ago and haven't got them back yet. We were a little late so I don't know when we will get them.

I guess we should send a reminder and ask about the status.

Yes, please. Ask Adam. Or if we won't ever get the answers, at least post the questions you sent him! :)

  3. Similar to the other thread, make a 11 TRACK album including the songs you think are best from HTEP to LPU11!

    My list :

    1. A.06

    2. What We Don't Know

    3. And One

    4. Figure.09

    5. My December

    6. Part Of Me

    7. Pretend To Be

    8. I Have Not Begun

    9. Carousel

    10. Across The Line

    11. Pale

This would be one hell of an album! :D

Also I fell compelled to throw in this image I made.

  4. The recent incident with Metallica in India didn't really higher your chances I guess.

Exactly my thoughts. After I heard about the incident, I was like "After this fiasco, I have lost all hope that Linkin Park is ever coming here, atleast not in the near future, and definitely not in Delhi!"

Yeah the organizers fucked it up, in the official Metallica statement it said that the barricade in front of the stage couldn't handle this massive amount of people. They couldn't fix it in time, so they had to cancel it for security reasons. I can relate that the fans get very angry, but wrecking the stage and equipment is the exact wrong thing to do.

Agreed. Those people nailed a pin in the coffin ensuring that it gets really tough for us to get any big bands here. And actually those people breaking the equipment were actually some 20-25 college kids who got really pissed off (and I don't blame them either). 25 out of 25000 people going insane and the whole country suffers. But I think it's rather unfair to subject everyone to the ill-fated consequences owing to the actions of some morons.

  5. I think I remember reading somewhere that Mike helped produce the track ''Hard'' which will be on the album.

Isn't "Hard" already available on the net. Well, I'm pretty sure about it cause I've listened to it hundreds of times & I fucking love it. :)
