  1. My thoughts - if they release anything, it'll be either:

Few instrumentals like Lockjaw to promote something

Few instrumentals like Mike had with the VMAs

    Mall Soundtrack

    Acapellas/Instrumentals from Hunting Party

B-Sides from Hunting Party (or compilation B-Sides album like Rise Against did with Long Forgotten Songs recently)

    The thrown away demos?

    or......

Linkin Park can go Beyonce on us and do The Hunting Party II or LP7

EDIT: Or a Music for Relief album? Idk how likely it is but with all the different conflicts going on, it's possible

    Too much possibilities haha

Personally, I think there IS something coming and management is just going into damage-control mode because Mike let something slip that he wouldn't have if he'd known he was being filmed.

I wouldn't be suprised if this is what happened

  2.

Thanks! (Hope to) see you there!

    :)

I am so happy they finally do a Stadium show in the Netherlands. Ive been waiting 12 years for the right moment! And I will attend my first concert ever 7th of November! Boys dream is coming true. haha!

You really chose the right moment then to attend your first concert!

  3. I'm so happy that they will finally visit The Netherlands as a headline act. Last one was in 2001, when I wasn't able to go. Had to see them at Pinkpop 2007 (in 2012 I was traveling around the world), but festivals mostly suck. Pinkpop is mostly Pop-music. Rock am Ring or Download are festivals of another kind, so no problem there.

Finally finally finally! A true LP concert here in Amsterdam. We have so many great locations here for LP concerts (Ziggo Dome - 17.000, Gelredome 30.000, Ahoy 15.000 etc.), but they've always skipped us somehow, and we had to go to outdoor festivals at the other end of the country.

Too bad I'm not a member of the LPU anymore (were there since LPU 2.0), so I have to wait untill Friday. When I have my tickets (and for my friends) this Friday, I will finally realise that my dream is coming true. I'm so happy!!!

Yeah I am also happy they are fnally here. I never was able to attend pinkpop since I simply didn't had the money. So finally it's my turn to see them live.Good luck, I hope you get tickets!! :D

  4. Can someone explain to me why they always start the ticket sale a few hours after the announcement?! that annoys me so much.

it is that I have a day off, but otherwise I would also be annoyed tbh

  5. I am so freaking happy they are coming to The Netherlands, so on 3pm are regular tickets in pre-order today, I am ready!!

I don't know what the prices are for the premium packages, but I am short of money and I rather have tickets instead of no tickets xD

  6. I've read people on other boards say that the band just doesn't know how to write heavy music anymore, and come across as a self-important imitation of their past selves. I agree 100%, even if I like most of the album. I think that with the next LP release, I'll ignore any interviews they do, because LP can't back up any of the hype they put out. There's nothing wrong with the music they make, and I love most of it, but people won't be talking about how "Guilty All The Same" brought alternative rock back into the mainstream 20 years from now. So that's my rant against the band over promoting their work, lol.

Personally, I skip "Final Mascerade" just as quickly as I skip past "Powerless", "The Messenger", and "Little Things Give You Away", along with any of the other LP power ballads. Same goes for anything Mike sings on. I don't want 10 "Hybrid Theory" sequels, but prefer to have Mike rapping, Chester finding a balance between singing/screaming, and the band musically mixing it up in the studio like they do on the current setlist: rap and rock mashed up with a DJ using samples and beats to bridge the gap. They do a far better job blending their styles together in the live show than they do in the studio, where tracks like "Until It Breaks" sound like a clusterfuck of an amateur mashup.

I think that is people's own fault though. People buy ('blindly') what interviews or quotes say. The artist loves his or her work. They felt that this album is a statement against what is hot out there atm. People should take anything they hear with a grain of salt anyways. Just like when people trust in reviews. Most reviews are made by people who hear the album once, or some songs, then they write their first thoughts and their first feelings. It doesn't says anything/ Music is an artform, and art is something that everyone experiences differently. Whether it is the artist, a lover, a hater or a random listener.
