Fantastic!
It isn't as raw as I expected, but the production really suits it well. It's gonna be one of those songs that the more times you hear it, the more different sounds & instruments you'll pick out.
Again, Fantastic!

Voted "Walking in Cirlces" - Epic win
The thing is, I havent heard a bad song yet! - Though I must admit I wasn't too keen on Fire at first, but after a few more listens I love it.
Heres my order of best ....
- Walking in Circles - First time I heard it, I loved it. the music & melodies & everything about it is epic
- In The Darkness - Love it in the same way as WIC, the chorus is so hauntingly beautiful.
- Let Down - Been listening to it for the past 5 years! & love it the more times I hear it xD fantastic ballad
- Crawl Back In - Such an awesome "in your face" rocker. Something old skool about it + clever lyric
- My Suffering - Yes the orginal was better. it was like OSC with the same energy. it would have been higher if chaz didnt mellow out the verses though now it sounds like a mix of "Faith No More" & "Nirvana"!
- Fire - Real good musicianship in this. & it screams of "Grey Daze"
- Morning after - Still really fond of this track, but all the others seemed to have blowed it out the water - maybe thats why Chaz cut it from the album xD

Not bad man
Though "Don't want the world staking death through my heart" should be "Don't want the world second guessing my heart"
The bridge should be: "Sometimes I lie, sometimes I crawl, Sometimes I feel like, I wanna die!"
& im pretty sure its "I wanna crawl back in"

Can't vote untill i've heard all 3 studio versions of those DBS tracks
Although...
Walking in Circles; In the Darkness; Let Down >>> Fire; Crawl Back In; My Suffering
-
just looked in the "RadioTimes" mag - it says "highlights from the SECOND day of the festival".
I guess that solves it then. Can't explain where DBS came from though...

I'm thinking QWERTY would be awesome
Yeh I second that. Anything from the HTEP or Xero tape would rock, I mean he could even do the "interlude" in 'And One'
Heck, the list is endlless!
That typhoon in Taiwan is worrying though
-
Yep I indeed use it, got some footage but its useless really without sound.
Ill have a go at that.
Thanks dude!
This is so cruel for non-Aus fans. I dont get why on earth it had to be just an Aussy exclusive. Wasn't it suppose to be a european single anway?
But for what you've described, I have no doubts that the album version will be epic! Can't wait to hear more

Wow, sounds sweet! very "Evanescence"'ish
Would be awesome if it were really though - imagine if next week someone on Ebay sells a CD full of Meteora demos that WB forgot about!
but thats just wishfull thinking

not even close to be one of the best performances of that song! the screams aren't raelly good and power is missing, the intro is cool but a bit boring.
in 2001 to 2004 (Rock am Ring,...) it was way better!!
ok, sry, this is indeed a good performacne of the song! chaz went fuckin' nuts! the crowd is lame though!
Haha thanks, but I guess I'm being bias as this is the only performace of AP4MH i've seen really!
More to come, I'll upload "what I've Done" with the Ambo intro next, then Wake/Given Up - yeh nowhere as good as this, but still worth watching!

This is live video I shot performed at the O2 Arena in London 2008 as Linkin Park's second Encore.
Probably one the best EVER perfomance of "A Place for My Head" - and so unexpected.
Yeah, a pretty poor video I know, but I remixed the audio with the DSP for maximum quality (the audio on the cam was even more appauling XD) to make this vid worth wild.
Desided to post it on here to give it a little more attenton
Gotta love that intro!
-
Nice job guys. sounds pretty spot on!
I wonder if anyone can figure the orginal version of my Suffering? (the '08 one) with the screaming in the verses?
only the quality is pretty poor on the recordings
-
thats the end of that then xD
-
Yeh, QWERTY, but only if they play the 06' version. the 07' version was good, but not AS good
-
Ah nice! way more than i thought

As I recall, theres a pretty good tab for the acoustic version of "Morning After" on Ultimate-Guitar under "chester Bennington" not DBS
I think there was even chords for "Let Down" on there too. Nothing else yet as far as I know.
How do you want a song to be performed live?

Yeah thats partly the main reason why I want With You back in the setlist - to my knowledge we never got a soundboard recording of this intro. - tho if there has, someone please send it to me! xD it sounded epic!
& I agree completely with everyone else, to bring back the Reanimation bridge to 1stpklsr & an acoustic version of Numb be it piano or acoustic guitar - the orginals getting boring, it needs a fresh new sound.
Another song that really needs something new is "lying from You" give it a new outro like Faint & it'll rock!
