  1. To be perfectly honest, I can easily say that Linkin Park would not be my favourite band without Chester fucking Bennington. I'm not a huge fan of rap, although I must say Mike has loads of talent, and Mike's vocals just aren't up to snuff IMO. That and he can't scream like a god.

  2. LMAO its no surprise that everyone thinks when the band switches up something its automatically the best setlist. They could do more with this setlist but oh well.

Not everyone? All I'm saying is that the ratio of single to non-single songs is relieving in comparison to every other setlist in the last 3 years. Sure they're not songs that would set the stadium on fire like Figure.09 or With You, but let's be real with ourselves here. They're both songs that people have bitched and moaned about for the last 3 months claiming it would make the shows so much more exciting. Now they are here, and people should finally be happy.

EDIT: But they won't be happy, because they'll complain how Papercut, Breaking the Habit, and now Iridescent weren't on the setlist.

  3. Yes, I picked Hybrid Theory. Now come at me with all of your pitchforks and knives...

IMO Hybrid Theory sounds the most "dated", even though it is the oldest. And the least amount of my favourite LP songs are from that album.

Although I do admit, it beats Meteora lyrically.

  4. I will sell my cum for this

Ahah why thank you for the compliment!! I knew making such a unique show would be a good idea! I don't see why LP hasn't done an acoustic set before yet. This setlist proves they have the perfect repertoire available!

  5. Considering we already have countless amazing normal set-lists, I decided to try something unique and different.

  6. Whhhhyyyyyyyyyyy??? Of all the dates for LP to come back to Canada... WHY does it have to be the busiest week of my University year? If they were even a single week LATER I could have gone to see them no problem... :(:(:(

They had better come back to Canada during a summer tour... Very disappointed.

  7. I don't know how in the world songs like Leave Out All the Rest and In Between got in MtM over songs like Across the Line, and now What We Don't Know. (and Pretend to Be, depending if it really is a MtM demo that was later finished)

What caught me from the start with What We Don't Know is the unique instrumentation; it's just so different from the other bland rock tracks from MtM.

On the instrumental side, Pale is just plain awesome. I really wish LP would have added some vocals to that beast.

Halo also seemed quite far out there for a demo from 2002. Seemed almost like something from Minutes.

I Have Not Begun hasn't struck a chord with me yet though. I can see why the song isn't a part of ATS.

Overall a much better CD than 9. C'mon guys, a lot of these songs may be lacking vocals, but at least they are full-length tracks. And they are MUCH better than listening to the "da na na na na lyrics... Across the Line is superb, but not enough to justify that LPU9 is better than 10.
