I don't mean to come off as a dick but you guys are sounding like a bunch of babies. They release more stuff between an album then they ever did (and I'm only talking LP stuff like LPU8, 9, Lockjaw, New Divide, Not Alone, 8 Bit Rebellion song, and w/e else is being planned before the album) and you still complain. I don't think it's fair, in fact, I think it's bullshit that these guys actually care about us and try their best to give us stuff and you compain about it anyway. If I were Mike and saw this, I'd say "fuck this" and do my best not to release anything until the album comes out.

As long as Nickleback didn't get it, I'm good. What I've Done is very good, but it's not a big crowed pleaser and it's kinda old. Aw well. Next year maybe.

IMO LP doesn't have to cater to any one of your needs. They can do w/e they damn want to (as long as WB allows them to) no matter how much you rant, call them names, say they're the worst band in the world, etc.

I personally liked the chat. New song soon, new album comin up, possible LPU tour, info on what the 5 mtm b-sides are like, etc. Even if the new song dissappoints you all, the album has 10-8 tracks (which I'd actually be okay about), LPU doesn't come, I'd be content. Guys need to stop getting so worked up about nothing, but hey, you wanna rant, I'm not stopping you.

I second that, but Halo 3 is pretty good too.

Best LPU by far. I really wish they would've used that version of Figure 09. I really like Mike's voice on Drum Song. I think it sort of fits it better than Chesters because it's low and sad instead of Chesters high and heavier voice (of course its and awesome song with chester).

Only disappointments were Stick n Move and Sad. They weren't anything to me but everything else pwnd (Across the Line was meh but good).

Doubt it. He can't scream or anything. I can see him doing something on Back To School. I highly doubt this but if he's up to it, he could sing Maynard's part on Passenger...really really doubt it though....or a new Deftones track or something...

I'd pick Drum Song because ever since I heard that little clip of it, I wanted the full version REALLY badly. And then the 2nd would be Stick n Move if it has Chester on vocals, or Figure 09 if it had the different rap verses.

He's actually right. The president does not have full power. Obama's only mistake was PROMISING change, but he had to do so to get elected. Every president does this. If they say they will "try" and the other guy says they WILL do something, the other guy will win because of how simple minded people are. It's not even been a full year yet, you can't expect everything to be finished. (It was pretty lame for him to get a Nobel Peace award...I will admit that) If the health care bill is passed within this year, that indicates to me that it's rushed and will be fucked over completely.

 

I don't see why you think it will make things worse. You would rather pay $15,000 for injuring your toe and having surgery on it? You can't deny the fact that we pay way too much just to survive.

 

I have never been a strong person for politics but I notice the same thing no matter what president is elected. There is always a "flaw", always. No one is perfect or ever will be. This health care plan should be the least of someones worries. When you look more into where our tax money is spent as of right now, I think you would change your standpoint some. At least with health care, our taxes are going to something useful.

I agree comepletely. And I feel republicans are just trying too hard to find these "flaws" and instead of thinking of something that might work as an alternative to what they disagree with, they rant...and rant....and rant...

That's not the song that's being discussed here. They're talking about the one that shows Rob playing piano in one of the LPTV 2007 episodes, it was an MTM song that didn't make the cut.

 

Bottom line regarding the 6th strings song: There's a 25% chance that we'll get it on LPU9. There are 4 fully completed MTM b-sides that haven't been released, and that's one of them.

How do we know that it was the finished song?

The actual term for emo is emotional, which OoA is...but I think they are using the term like "I want to cut myself BLAH BLAH". and actually, how is the line in ITD "I want to cut through my skin", emo? Its actually the other way around if you know what the song is about

You are 100% wrong. LP was criticized for changing their style, meaning they did what people did not want them to do. If you create "private" music and no one ever hears it, then what's the point? They're signed to a label meaning they can not release music for free. It's their job.

That'd be cool if they had demo names, like Accident, etc. I would of course prefer a majority of Meteora demos too since we have absolutely NOTHING from Meteora in terms of demos, and plus, the band said they deleted them all...so those will be surprising.

 

If it was my choice, I'd want Figure.09 since it's so different...Lying From You or Don't Stay. I say we'll get ITE/Crawling since they have to put material from HT on there and those are the 2 biggest HT songs. No way we'll get Plaster, but Papercut would be EPIC. Let's see what they give us..... I'm really excited.

If they put TLTGYA with mike on lead vocals...

Adam from LPU HQ has said he already knows what will be on the LPU9 CD, meaning it's already finalized.

Did he say he liked it or anything along those lines?
