^Travelling is not the problem, I don't mind travelling, hell, I've been going to Download for the past 5 years. The point of a tour is that the band comes to you, not the other way around.

I think the band was on top form during LIT, the audience on the other hand I felt was lacking, like they were there for Metallica mainly and not so much LP so they didn't really get into it. Also hate the mixing on LIT, it completely mutes anything other than the bands instruments during the performance and you can't really hear the crowd, it's this reason I like Rammstein's Volkerball, you can hear the crowd throughout the whole concert (admittedly it's a bit quieter during the songs, but not by that nuch), chanting along to song, singing along, etc.

Spain says "hi". The last Full LP show in Spain was 2003. 2008 if you count festivals.

^Yes, but Glastonbury has a lot more support from BBC/Channel 4/etc. compared to Download, Unless download is able to pick up enough companies to back it to allow it to host the live stream again or allow them to show the whole shows on tv, it ain't going to happen.

Back from Download, amazing weekend, was right under Mike during ITE. Especially happy I got to experience Forgotten and By Myself live, 2 songs I never thought I'd get to see live.

Really needs a solo after that screaming part. Can definitely hear Darons involvement in the song

^ I'd probably say Mike's solo would get included as well if they play the Numb/Encore intro to Numb, Since the solo kind of leads into it.

But...wouldn't this kind of defeat the purpose of the name?

Maybe they'll surprise us and do Meteora in full too... ... a man can dream.

Play the album backwards like Metallica did and end on OSC and Papercut

This quote from that article really summed up why I just went off of LP around ATS. “That’s it, I’ve had it, fuck this band, they’re not making music for me anymore because all I want to hear is heavy guitars and there isn’t a guitar to be found on this record. They’re singing about the world’s ills and there’s a bunch of electronic bleeps and blips, fuck these guys.”

Used to be, they've dropped down a few places now after I was dissapointed in Living Things and (to some extent) A Thousand Suns. Rammstein are currently my favourite band.

^ If this is a good representation of the upcoming album, I want to see how many older fans come back that left during MTM/ATS.

The problem I have with it mostly is that it seems the raw aspect seems to be overly treble-y and it drowns out the bass. It why I didn't realise Rob was using a double pedal till Astat pointed it out, the raw feel to the guitars and everything drowns out the bass drum too much.

The more I listen the less I like the very raw mixing style of this. I'm also not a ran of Rakim's verse.

I'm pretty happy this tour is not over here, as much as I liked LP in the past, 30STM are just boring live.

I was thinking that, but I sort of blocked it out since I know Rob is pretty quick with a single pedal. After a few listens, I only now hear the gallops in the ending. I'm hoping the double bass is a sign for a heavier LP, but I'll reserve me judgement at the moment till I hear more off the album.

Well, it's piqued my interest in LP again for one.

Sky Arts, Scuzz and (I believe) Kerrang have highlight shows about a month or 2 after the festival where they show various songs from the bands on the upper 2 stages. since LP are one of the headliners, you can probably expect around 3 songs. I'm going to be there, can't believe I'm actually going to get to see By Myself and Forgotten live.

^ Sure, in hindsight, you can call What I've Done softer, but at the time when it came out, no one was expecting a slower album from LP, so everyone kind of put WID on the same level as Numb and Pushing Me Away, as the softer/more poppy song of the album.

Hopefully the heavy-ness from the heavier songs of MTM and the..... actually, nothing from ATS, please.

Been going to Download now for the past 3 years, so will be going again this year. I'm looking forward to most of the bands announced so far and I love the atmosphere in the camps/arena during the festival. Hybrid Theory is just a bonus for me at the moment.

I swear to god, if this is just going to be another bait and switch like MTM...
