Years and years of playing LP instrumental demos on shuffle, imagining the guys vocals. To hear MTV after listening to Cumulus a thousand times is unreal. Give me more please.

Great interview. I'm still a little hesitant to say that LP is going to make new music again, but I'm excited for whatever else Mike is teasing. I have a feeling it's more of his personal work, not LP music, and I'll be more than happy with that.

Hearing the guys in real time go on youtube for the TTTAMP clip and discuss it during this Q&A is so awesome. A small snippet that has been played over and over and enhanced by the Linkin Park fan CSI team 1 billion times gets clarified in about 2 minutes by the band. The interview video is excellent. Mike with a lot of hinting at LP doing more stuff in the near future. Great to get more insight into Meteora.

I have the same exact feeling. Very B-sidey, a little unpolished. To me even though it's a full song it feels a bit closer to Debris than say Numb.

I agree here. I can see why Lost or She Couldn't didn't make the cut or fit the albums, same with Primo. To me the only true bonafide mistake LP made is leaving No Roads Left off that album. Besides Mike not wanting to sing that song live every show, I don't know how you could justify omitting it.

Exact same thing I thought of. No Roads Left is still my #1 can't-believe-they-left-it-off-the-album song, but this one is right there. It is easily should have made it over Nobody's Listening.

Does anyone remember what post on Linkinpedia talks about how LP watched another band's set during a tour and said they were really good we need to step up. So the next day LP crushed it with a lot more energy and I think the other band was impressed by how LP can just turn it up. I know this is super vague but I've probably read this on Linkinpedia 10 times but always forget what link it's under and how I get there.

I remember exactly where I was, sitting on a park bench when someone let me listen to Numb on their MP3 player. I had heard LP before, but I never really listened until that day. I'll never forget that feeling of listening to the intro for the first time, it was really magical. I think the next couple of days were spent listening to some of their other songs and burning my own CD with my favorites. I remember it went Numb, Papercut, then Somewhere I Belong as the first 3 songs. 18 years later, I have hundreds of songs, live shows, and demos on my phone that I listen to daily. This album IS Linkin Park to me. Changed my whole world of music too.

Which is a shame because I think most would agree that the newer/ wrong version is the worst of the two. I can't believe after all this time it's still not fixed. I can understand NRL & Across the Line being getting tweaked by mistake because they are bonus tracks, but SOTD's chorus? Crazy.

I've listened to/ sung this song about 20 times with my newborn son in the last 24 hours. Just great that we have a clean mastered track after all these years. Would've been amazing if they had played this one live. They just have too many good tracks that didn't make studio albums. Geniuses from the very beginning.

The leaked version was with Mark. The one we are getting with HT20 is with Chester on vocals.

Mike just confirmed on stream that not all songs are with Chester. Guess we will get the Xero songs with Mark.
