Can someone please make a list of ALL tracks not released with Hybrid Theory 20? I would like to make some CD’s to keep in my collection with all of these compiled together to give it a more complete feel. You can even include things such as the Deftest snippet and unknown song snippet, Visionaries and LP song, everything from the eras of 1996-2002 (just not meteora demos from 2002). This would be very much appreciated highly. Even things such as the Much Too easy clip. I mean it all

There is a studio recording of it from 2000. I asked Jeff Blue and he confirmed it.

are you for real? there's an studio version of that?
imagine if there's a Pictureboard with the same Chester live style vocals.

Does anyone know the origins of the P_WESTON, NIN_BLUE, NIN_CRAK, DEFTKICR, and OUTKAST_ samples, which come from the Xero Current folder?

Also, does anyone know the origins of the LIMPKICK sample, which comes from the NewFinishesA folder?

I've been try to figure out where these samples originate from with no luck.

Edit: I commented on a couple YouTube videos of Closer from Nine Inch Nails a year ago asking if there were any Nine Inch Nails experts there on YouTube. A couple different people replied back to me saying that there were or maybe were. I just recently replied back with a link to the NIN_BLUE and NIN_CRAK samples. I'm awaiting an answer at the moment. I will edit this when I get an answer.

I didn't found anything of those... actually i've asked on a NIN reddit like i said... someone mentioned about NIN_BLUE but i couldn't find
    DEFTKICK0 - Lifter by Deftones

Xero Current > deftones - Around the Fur
(there's another sample that uses this drum... but i can't remember which one)

MIKE MPC > LIMPKICK1 - Just Like This by Limp Bizkit

P_Weston must be from Paul Weston.

Idk about the others you've mentioned ((so far))

Wow! I swear I went through their entire discography (great band by the way) and didn't hear this before.

Great catch. From The Perfect Drug Versions. Never considered that Mike could be using remixes of those songs.

Is this the same as "LIONELCYM"? I don't have the files handy to compare them.

i just went like crazy hunting for some samples, i even asked about those NIN samples on reddit... lol
here's 3CYMS sample, it is not the same as LIONELCYM

  5. PORTIS1 - Undenied by Portishead

NIN_PDRG/NIN_PDRG1 - The Perfect Drug (Remix Trent Reznor & Keith Hillebrandt) by Nine inch Nails

    D_ANGELOSNAR2 - Shit, Damn, Motherfucker by D'Angelo

3CYMS - Running With The Night by Lionel Richie

Any Funk/Lionel Richie fan here? i really wanted to know the origin of these samples:
    LIONELSNARE
    LIONELBASS2

I'm working on a remaster of old MPC beats... mainly Goop, Rendevzvo & Emo.

New (unlisted) Youtube videos on the LP channel including the original LPTV episodes that have never been on their channel and extended versions of the other LPTV episodes. Sadly everything seems to be 480p only.

Lost was certainly not used for an album promo. I think people would remember if it was. He’s totally bs’ing.

Hardcore fans have already dug up/talked about every surfaced clip of Lost. That guy must be thinking of A.06. If not he’s either totally bullshitting or he works at NRG, and I doubt he does.

that's what i was thinking, A.06 was used for promo

It is a different demo that is similar to One Step Closer. Old Figure.09 is a rap demo. They connected them together and name Figure.09 remained. It is the same situation like with Until It Breaks. It has 4 demos connected together. Figure.09 has 2 demos.

we can hear that Figure.09 version on this LPTV Ep

"The Wizard Song" - it's a joke. It was performed in the Mike's home studio. I think it wasn't re-recorded in the NRG Studios. 😃

Yes, i think it was recorded... you can see that there's BG vocals on the "Chorus"... they were tracking to have a song, but i think it was trashed since it was just a regular joke song...
and like @Hybrider said, the Instrumental was a real deal.

Kinda random but I found an artist named Penny Penny. Maybe that's the origin of the PENNYBUMS and PENNYCYM samples?

probably, i could try to find it

Not sure if I mentioned this before, but I think POD_CARDIG2 could be from The Cardigans.

idk if i saw that before

I think what I meant to say is what about .APS? I think I accidentally got the both of them mixed up.

Ooh, APS is the files that set the sounds to the project, like, you select them with a .PGM and you get all the files set to that .APS file

Jeff Blue talked about “NBA INSIDE STUFF – BG CUES" on June 4th, 2021 and he was questioned about what “NBA INSIDE STUFF – BG CUES" actually was, he replied with this: “ Umm, so BG stands for BACKGROUND, so a lot of times when, uhh. So, a publisher’s job is to, umm, exploit, and exploit means get money, from the, the artist’s catalog, so when we, uh, sended out, we were trying to get, you know we got “The Crow”, um, we know too many got “The Crow”, so that song appeared in there, but also, you also have the backing tracks, which a lot of times when you’re listening to, uh, a tv show or whatever, um, you hear the background. And without the vocals, so that’s what “BG CUES” is for. And then the “NBA” was probably was placed in, uh, a promo for, you know, “NBA”, um, you know, basketball. So that’s, that’s what that is and so, yeah.” He also then confirmed that it’s an instrumental of a Xero demo.

We could def go thru all NBA promos from 1997/1998 ;)
