Those are the stems. I found another YouTube video from a YouTuber by the name of Relatise playing "More the Victim" on Rock Band 4.

I commented on the YouTube video, asking if he had the stems to the song. He replied back to me with this "Actually, I think I can get them". He also sent me this link: removed

The files are exactly the same as the files from Sloth Demon Dump.

I asked if those are the official stems from Rock Band 4, saying I was just wondering to make sure. He replied back with this: "Correct they are"

Here's my Google Drive link with .mp3 files instead of .ogg files: removed

I converted the audio files from .ogg to .mp3. There is also the notes .midi file, the album art .png file, and the song .ini file.

that's horrible, it sounds awful, sounds like they isolated in the first website they found... very dissapointing.

On page 22, I explain why Lost has to be Resolution.

But if that wasn’t enough here’s a visual representation of the Meteora board and the songs the titles belong to

Heres the FIFTEEN songs (sixteen if you include the two figure.09’s that received vocals but we know these were combined or Plaster II removed to created Figure.09.)

The board status nearing the end of vocal recording before Chester gets sick for several weeks. (mid-late October 2002):

Cumulus - More The Victim (1)

Interrogation - Easier To Run (2)

Cuidado - Lying From You (3)

    BLANK - Fighting Myself (4)

    Pretty Birdie - Somewhere I Belong (5)

Shifter - From The Inside (6)

    Serpent - Numb or Nobody's Listening (7)

Nocturnal - Numb or NL also (8)

    Session (9)

    Resolution - Lost (10)

    Faint (11)

    Sick - Don’t Stay (12)

    Plaster II - Figure.09 (13

Husky - Hit The Floor (14)

Drawing - Breaking The Habit (15)

    Figure.09 (16)

    Reasoning:

Cumulus is obviously more the victim.

The Blank space has to be a song stopped working on. The earliest they stopped work on out of the 15 was Fighting Myself.

NOCTURNAL and SERPENT are guaranteed Numb and Nobody’s Listening just one or the other BECAUSE

The Wizard Song, Resolution sounds the most like LOST

so what other demo would it be for??? I couldn’t possibly tell ya. Lying From You??? It must be, right??

Apologies for so many posts, I’m really trying to get this through.

in the end that BBB Soundbites video meant to something, you did a great job too ;)

Linkin Park has announced, "We are celebrating the release of Meteora|20 with a Global Fan Q&A livestream. Become an LP Underground member for your chance to be a part of the live conversation in Los Angeles and we’ll see everyone on the livestream. Submit your questions via video and tune in on April 10th at 11am PT (link in our bio)"

Fans will submit questions via video on the LP Underground and can watch on the Linkin Park YouTube and Facebook as well as on Mike's Twitch channel.

As the announcement says "...with members of Linkin Park", it is possible that this will not be the entire band.

was Nocturnal and Serpent the working titles of Nobody's Listening and Numb?
what was the working title of Lost?
Which was the farest stage that Healing Foot got during the NRG Sessions?
Which was the final tracks that made into NRG?
how many songs where in NRG songboard?

was Hit The Floor not meant to make the album? (about that version without HTF)

alot of crazy fan type questions... i know, lol.

Yeah anything is possible with that song board if we don't know what Serpent and Nocturnal are, and we need song titles for Numb and Nobody's Listening still. And yeah, Lost and Resolution are a part of that discussion too.

Surely there is a different song board photo from somewhere in the process. Maybe in the Meteora|20 book?

following the order of that old interview by Mike.
Breaking the Habit, Shifter and Nocturnal... (Breaking the Habit, From the Inside and Nobody's Listening)

Vulture has posted a new interview with Mike ahead of the Meteora|20 release this week.

    Some highlights:

"Joe Hahn and I used to go to a record store called Fat Beats and buy vinyl. DJs would press unauthorized scratch records with other people’s sounds on it and shit. So when there were DJ battles, you could be scratching something that other people didn’t have, and we would buy those records and use them. So it wasn’t a leap to say, “Oh, at some point I’d love to make a record that I can scratch onstage.” Me and Joe made a single pressing of original sounds and whatever else. There were a couple things on that record that were actually lifted off of other people’s records. We never sold it. It was just for Joe to scratch and give out to friends. I still have a couple copies."

"We had met with every label and most of the indies and got turned down by everybody. Then we got Chester, and we were like, “Now we’re going to get signed.” We went and met with everybody again, showcased for everybody, and they all turned us down again. We were doing okay, playing shows for a hundred people in town, but nobody wanted to sign us. We eventually signed a publishing deal with this guy who had signed Limp Bizkit and some other people and he ended up taking a job at Warner, and we went with him as a function of him taking the job. We basically had a development deal, where if it worked out, they put out our record, but if it didn’t work out, they’d just cut us loose. And it worked out."

"The unspoken, sometimes spoken agreement between me and Don Gilmore was that he was in charge of the rock aesthetic. I gave him feedback on it, but he would not give me feedback on the hip-hop that was going on the record. He was like, “Just so we are clear, Mike, you are in charge of making sure the hip-hop is pitch perfect on this thing. I won’t know.” So if I made a beat or Joe made a beat and somebody had criticism and wanted to remove a weird sample or something, we had to have a discussion without Don. At the time we were using really obnoxious samples. If you listened to some of the records we just named, some of the sounds on them are abrasive, and we loved that."

“Massive” and “Healing Foot” also should’ve come out in 2003. There are hits on that demo disc.

"One of those two I think I tried to resurrect during Minutes to Midnight, and again, it was like, “No man, we don’t want to look backward at all.” So this is all about that 2003 moment. There’s a certain level of quality control going on. We want to make sure that when we put something together, it’s thoughtful and we’ve done our best. Is it going to be perfect? No. Is it going to appeal to everybody? Of course not. It never will be."

we didn't heard Massive yet.. but i think it was Healing Foot, so much potential on that track.

I kinda doubt that. If it was pre-NRG, the song probably wouldn’t have gotten vocals (in which the song does have vocals). I’m thinking that they couldn’t find the session with the NRG live drums, so that they had to stick to the pre-NRG programmed drums.

Then again, we are getting “Shifter (“From The Inside” Demo)”, and that demo is from the pre-NRG sessions (it’s the same version from the ‘Making Of Meteora’, when the band was recording stuff for the album in the back of their Ozzfest bus in 2001), and it has Mike vocals, so, I could be completely wrong, lol. But that’s what I was thinking.

it could be.. anyways, there's another version in their vault.
i hope that we get to hear it

There are so many unreleased show intro/outro beats by Mike and/or Joe it's crazy. Hope the Denver and Manila shows have them at the end. And Seoul has the full 2003 show intro. All of those are awesome.

there's drum pieces of that Camden 2004 beat on his MPC backup folder "LOOSESAMPLES",  he probably got that from a old record (probably funk)
for some reason the Snare with the scream is short here... idk if Mike has any other version of this sound.

Same person, he kept remarking that Massive sounded more raw than the rest of the demos, but now that you say that Chester isn't there, I don't even know what to believe anymore LOL. What he did confirm is that he didn't listen to any BTH demo with Chester's vocals or a demo of Don't Stay, but now seeing the situation, I don't know what to think.

confirmed!! Dave "Phoenix" Farrell was the dude from the listening party in Madrid!

    "Is this Carousel?"

  9. 7 minutes ago, LPAAltwireDerek said:

Massive sounding like Carousel is probably the worst take I’ve heard yet lol. They’re not even close. Firstly, there’s no rap from Mike at all. No aggressive vocals from Chester. If anything it sounds a lot more like TRUSTcompany style rock (except with no screaming) than Carousel. Is this from the same guy who didn’t recognize the wizard song? :P

I seem to remember an interview where they said they reworked And One for Meteora but for the life of me I can’t find the interview ANYWHERE. I sometimes wonder if I was dreaming it.

There's the 2000 version of And One (according to Jeff Blue it does exist)... shortened like it was played live.

Just to temper expectations, it's "The Wizard Song" in the sense that the song has the exact instrumental from TWS. It's legit 100% the same, save for some piano parts we didn't hear before. But it doesn't have The Wizard Song lyrics. No fables about fairytale paths, aluminum fashion, and sending power through eyeballs I'm afraid.

Mike's raps on it are still fun as fuck though.

does Wesside sounds anything like this?

All those things are just differences in mixing choices made by Andy and Manny I think, as well as to do with the mixes being 20 years apart from each other.

Mike said the band and Manny listened to the original mix and then decided to give it the new one.

The whole point of the new mix is to keep the familiar classic sound of Linkin Park and Meteora but do it in a way that sounds more presentable nowadays, so it would appeal to more audiences. Makes perfect sense. But also I’m really glad they’re including the 2002 mix too, and not just keep it buried forever.

makes sense now, the verses might have some EQ and effect differences.
like you said, we are getting the og 2002 mix, sad that Lost was the only non-album track to be mixed.

  12. 32 minutes ago, IWillWalkAway said:

The sounds are all the same but the mix and EQ is very different on a lot of sounds.

Most sounds EQ will likely be a lot more raw on the 2002 mix, like how the other Meteora tracks were done by Andy and at the time of 2002.

One example, is that scratch effect after every 2nd snare hit in the verses, again heard in Mikes Shirt LPUTV.

Another is just the drum track itself, especially the kicks.

And overall the mix is more Andy Wallace sounding for sure you can hear it in higher quality in that clip on the extended summer sanitarium episode on LP’s youtube

i noticed that the verse synth is really panned to the right side.
that other distorted sample from 0:20 is panne to the left side.
and the string are not that loud in this mix.

some stuff that still on the Manny mix after all... did he listened to the 2002 mix to then do his mix?

If Resolution does end up being an early version/demo of Lost, wouldn’t that allude to Nocturnal and Serpent being the demo titles of Nobody’s Listening and Numb?

(though without knowing which one is which specifically)

something cool to we get answered by Mike... what track was Nocturnal and Serpent?
(especially Nocturnal, since was one of the early tracks to be ever mentioned alongside BTH and Shifter)

Fans: We want more from other members besides Mike always doing the press
Also fans: These interviews with Brad are repetitive

lol. Any time we can hear from the band these days is good. Brad speaks very well and this was a solid interview. Talking about Don, mentioning he (Brad) was the one that wanted the song mixed by Manny, etc... the smaller details like Mike taking residency in a bus in 2001 to get demos made for the next album, all of that is cool.

i've mentioned about the questions, not about what they said... seems just like Lost is being released, when we have more 13 unheard tracks, idk why no one talks about this.
