  1. I wouldn't say that Chester doesn't care dude. Watch any LPTV or making of and you will see that he kicks back and let's Mike do his thing. He lets Mike have creative contr. he even said he slept a lot during the making of The Hunting Party. And there is the infamous Minutes to Midnight making of photo with him with his hoodie up sleeping while Mike is working. And during the making of A Thousand Suns, Mike had to ask Chester if he was paying attention, etc. Chester is just a chill guy who kicks back. He even said his favorite radio station on Apple Music is ''electro chill''. Anyways, this is cool. I like when they show is making of stuff.
  2. - Xero show recording. - Pictureboard. - Making of Hybrid Theory. - My December (Team Sleep Remix). - Thoughts That Take Away My Pride Song. - DSP's of Projekt Revolution 2004. - Machine Shop Mixtape 2005 Song. - Grecian. - Other demos created for Transformers 2. - Left To Right Song. - Making of Living Things. - The folk songs from 2011 and 2012. - 2013 shows DSP's. - Making of The Hunting Party. - 2014 shows DSP's. - 2015 shows DSP's.
  3. I liked both tracks on LPU 13 from Ryan Giles and Beta State but I hope they don't do it again for LPU 15. I'd rather have more LP demos instead, even if they aren't that great. Maybe LP should bring back adding some good live tracks to the LPU CD's since they got rid of the DSP's recently. Just the rare stuff or fan favorites like A Line In The Sand or Faint with Austin Carlile from Of Mice & Men.
  4. No More Sorrow, When They Come For Me and Don't Stay all are aggressive and would fit The Hunting Party Tour, I feel like. Hmm.. Maybe I have an unpopular opinion but I actually kind of liked it. The band also looked happy playing it.
  5. This is hard, but... HYBRID THEORY I would say Orlando 2000. Probably not the strongest performance but it is the earliest recording we have from the band. Plus I have good memories listening to it back in the day. METEORA Definitely Rock AM Ring 2004. There are too many good shows from this era but I like this one the best. 2005-2006 Tokyo 2006 without a doubt. MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT Hmm... Probably either Milton Keynes or the last show of Projekt Revolution 2007 in Colorado. Listen to that recording and you'll see why... A THOUSAND SUNS Like the Meteora era, there are too many good shows from this era. I like London 2010, Madrid 2010 and the Projekt Revolution shows in 2011 a lot. LIVING THINGS Most likely Rock IM Park 2012 because it was a good performance and someone got engaged live on stage or the Sunset Strip Music Featival 2013 show. The videos from that 2013 looked great and they played right where Xero played back in the day, that's pretty cool. THE HUNTING PARTY It's either gotta be Rock AM Ring 2014 or that Rock In The Rio show this year. Both were pretty good performances and I liked the set list from both. Austin Carlile from Of Mice & Men on Faint was also great.

  7. Yes, I know that I listed quite a few songs with an alternative rock style, but what I meant was an entire album in that sound. Those are all from various releases.
  8. Doubt that Keys To The Kingdom and Mark The Graves will be played on the next tour since they are deep cuts (not singles) and with a new album and tour they will probably want to have room for new songs and singles. As far as the DSP situation, I don't think it's good news. Yes, he said he would like to see them return, but his comment doesn't seem too promising. I think he has said that before too. If it's too much work for Pooch then I don't see how it'd be any different nowadays. They probably don't want to hire another person solely to help with DSP's.
  9. I'd like an alternative rock approach. They have dabbled with the idea a little bit in the past, but never really truly went for it. Songs like Final Masquerade, What I've Done, Valentine's Day, The Messenger, I'll Be Gone, The Last Line, Leave Out All The Rest and the like remind me of an alternative rock style. However, since I've been following LP for a long time, I know not to expect anything when it comes to what they will do next. They are very unpredictable and will do whatever they want to do. But I hope it's not ''full pop''. I do like Living Things and Recharged but I would like them to approach a more rock driven direction, which doesn't have to be heavy, but more alternative rock style, like what I listed above or like 30 Seconds To Mars music or something like that. I personally believe that The Little Things Give You Away is the best song the band has ever written so maybe something like that.
  10. Those are some great ones.
  11. Wow... that's really too bad about the sales. I can understand why the band or label wanted to stop them though, but it sucks for the hardcore fans who collect shows. Thanks for taking the time to reply to this. This site is literally the only website dedicated to Linkin Park that talks about the DSP's in one way or another. But it just seems to me that the DSP's were the best, the quality was impeccable and they released tons of shows, not just like some shows that they webcast, etc. I had no idea about that open letter. If you try again in August, I will also try and tell them how much I miss them. I have bought a lot of them over the years and also downloaded a lot, simply because of how much DSP's were released and I didn't have that kind of money. But I am willing to pay if it means they can come back. Thanks again for replying.
  12. I've been a long time lurker of this site and LPA for many years, but I never decided to make a post until now. I would like to know why the band has stopped releasing DSP's of the shows? I could not find an answer anywhere and I really miss them. I haven't collected any live audio since they stopped: It really sucks, because the quality was unmatchable in my opinion. And they were nicely tagged and very playable. Never much cared for audience recordings because of quality. It's a shame.
