  1. agree 100%. but i've seen myself grow in different ways b/c of this. i started in 2000 with a burnt cd of their music. since i've gone to many shows and only recently (past few years) have i begun to embrace and take part in their other efforts such as charity work, art, movies, etc.
  2. I personally believe that true fans evolve with the band and continue their support of such
  3. I find it extremely hard to believe that they forgot about their 15th yr anniversary. They may not have anything planned for it but I doubt it slipped their minds. For a band that still holds meet & greets, and also all the efforts they make to engage their fanbase, I dont think they've lost touch with their roots. I also don't believe they have an attitude that they have no idea what's going on. They have different priorities now it seems but their fans and charities, along with their businesses, are all high on that list. 15 years ago all they had from that group were just the fans. They've grown up, changed, adapted, and are now a conglomerate in my eyes.
  4. I wonder if Mike's new art project he posted about on Instagram has anything to do with this and a possible charity auction
  5. Agreed. This can't be a coincidence. I hope!

  9. can we start a poll?
  10. I'm curious- is media such as CD's and records considered merch? Not trying to be too technical, but just popped into my head as a question.

  18. funny stuff, but glad people are coming forward. Nice work Mike!
  19. it's also less money for everyone involved on that end, may not be worth the time and efforts for them to have small shows They're a big machine these days and lots of overhead!
  20. Mike said in his interviews that he, and I'm guessing others, always work on things like beats & lyrics throughout the tours. Mike's head is always thinkin and experimenting so I'm sure many of his ideas come to fruition in some way on their records. Then the band just comes together to brainstorm and see what works
  21. From what I know from a manager of theirs, they have one semi-trailer in Asia right now with all the gear. I can't imagine them reducing this any?
  22. that's the cornerstone dude!
