  1. You could ignore "people in the industry know" rumors You could ignore all the Instagram connections because that frankly, doesn't matter especially if you're talking about a local artist from the same label But the deleting most of Instagram pictures is something that has got to raise eyebrows. Once the rumor started she definitely got some comments asking about LP, maybe DMs
  2. I tried searching and haven't found a single song/performance where she does scream. Sure, she does some "yelling" with a rock drive to it, but that is not scream.
  3. It looks like the only puporse of the 100-hour countdown was literally to give us the 9/05 date. IMO they could've done that with a 24-hour countdown, 100 hours seems like a waste of time but whatever 😆
  4. The fact it's scheduled during "industry working hours" makes me think the focus is going to be on something different than a live show. Maybe like a video shoot, Q&A session, a listening party. Then maybe a short performance or something, but I'm willing to bet it's not a full on LPU-only live show in the early afternoon.
  5. The event is scheduled "between 12.30PM and 5.30PM". I don't know what this could mean. A video shoot ? then maybe a hang out and a Q&A session with the band ? a listening party ?
  6. We'll know the exact time when they post the next countdown. But they need to shave off around 10 hours (otherwise it would fall on very late hours in the US on Sep 5th / early morning Sep 6th in Europe). Here's what I'm thinking now: Current count is gonna go only until 90 hours 55 minutes, then it's gonna end with a glitch and transform into 100 hour countdown (during which there might be more hints as to what they're gonna announce). If they did it this way, the end of the countdown would fall on Sep 5th 1:00PM EST/7:00PM CEST. Perfect time for an announcement.
  7. It glitched at 09:05:00. That means we have 3 glitches: 09min5sec, 1hrs35min and 9hrs5min. 9/5 confirmed x3 /edit posted at the same time as @yagamilight207
  8. It would also be 4AM in Europe (on Sep 6). Maybe one of the timers will be adjusted so we eventually get a countdown to a proper time on September 5th.
  9. Couple months from now we're all gonna be looking at this like: "Yeaah, that thing with a bunch of countdowns, when they got everybody excited and into all these wild speculations. It wasn't even that "fun" at the time, it actually felt like "torture" at times with all the suspension and confusion, but thankfully it eventually led to release of great music and now we have a world tour to look forward to !"
  10. Did it feel like a waste of time ? yeah Am I mad ? No, because I CONSCIOUSLY chose to get overly excited and have fun with it.
  11. Here's my prediction as to what's gonna happen tomorrow: 4:00PM CEST Rock Am Ring announces LP for 2025 8:15PM Brand new single premiere followed by an album announcement
  12. I absolutely hate the idea of "multiple vocalists". Like, they already did that at the Tribute Show. That's enough. I believe if they're gonna come back after 7 year, they're gonna do it the right way, make it solid.
  13. what's the time ? for me it just says "Wednesday 8/28 - AM PST" did they edit out the time ? or you're referring to the LP announcement, not the Sum 41 one /edit: got it
  14. They're just stirring the pot
  15. Rob might have personal reasons, it could very well be health-related or he's just not into playing music anymore. Or in the end, after all this speculation, he's simply gonna be there. Whatever happens, it's not gonna bring down my excitement. At this point I just prefer Linkin Park over no Linkin Park, it's that simple. I'm rooting for the guys after all they've been through, which was devastating to them (if you look at the videos of Mike from late 2017). So I don't claim "ownership" of the band, I don't feel like I'm entitled to tell them what to do, or to bring down other fans' excitement. I want the band to make music, so I'm happy they most likely will
  16. I think it's still possible that they announce RaR on Wednesday. 4 hours apart between announcements is not crazy long. 4PM RaR announces LP as a headliner. 8:15PM announcement would be for LP to properly introduce themselves back to the fanbase, revealing a new vocalist and maybe put out a piece of music.
  17. I think starting again as Xero would be smart move, but long-term. They would avoid comparisons of the new singer to Chester, it would allow them to cut off everything that's in the past and start with a blank piece of paper. Big portion of LP fanbase would follow. But it would require an organic process of building the brand, including playing smaller shows and non-headlining spots at big festivals probably for a few years. To me as a fan it totally makes sense if you're thinking long-term, but it doesn't short-term, because they can basically come back as LP whenever they're ready and get big tour offers and all. I'm here for whatever comes
  18. I can see "new music" not necessarily being a full album, but rather a single + maybe an EP. Just to introduce themselves back to the fans "Hello guys, it's been a while. This is the new singer. This is what we're all about at the moment. Enjoy !"
  19. Personally I wouldn't want them to become a legacy act. They're in their mid-40's. They can still offer us a lot of exciting stuff. Remember, Mike is a creative beast
  20. https://www.okodia.co.uk/the-secrets-of-the-letter-o/ Bolded parts are interesting. You've got Danish singer MØ, you've got the theme of "fallen gladiators", theme of empty set and nubmer zero which could symbolize a beginning of something new.
  21. Hooly shit IT'S HAPPENING !!! All aboard the HYPE TRAIN !
  22. What does it say precisely ? Translation to English says "Linkin Park preparing new shows in LATAM for November 2024", but translation to my native language says "Linkin Park preparing UNRELEASED shows in LATAM for November 2024", I guess meaning like a DVD/video streaming release of some old shows. If they were indeed to play actual shows, it could very well be a surprise comeback tour or something on short notice. They might have so much confidence in South American fanbase that they know it's gonna sell out quickly.
  23. To me it almost seems as if they were testing the waters to see exactly how much hype and interest there is going to be
  24. It's good to see Mike post an update after months of silence, but still it could mean anything. Could very well be a Fort Minor / solo album. The only conclusion is that something big is coming, "many exciting things" (plural) could indicate a release + promotion + maybe an actual live tour. Zero indication what it's for, solo project or LP. I love the excitement, but also I'd hate to get excited for LP comeback, get a Mike record + tour (which is a good thing) and get bummed about it because I was expecting LP comeback.
  25. When DWP headliners are typically announced ? If first announcements might come as early as September, then I would expect them to start posting some hints around maybe one month in advance, meaning right now.
