  1. I can't believe no one else has requested the original acoustic performance of Let Down. It's so hauntingly beautiful and has a very strong Grey Daze vibe. Much better than the semi-acoustic version on iTunes. I could be wrong and maybe this has been requested a million times before, but I'm too lazy to look at the rest of the forum, so whatever. If anyone has a good quality download link to the 2005 acoustic performance of Let Down, I will never be able to thank them enough.

  2. I don't have that unfortunately, what's different from the DSP? Mixing?

It probably isn't different actually. I don't mean to come off as picky or demanding. Any download of HHH/Crawling Feat. Chris Cornell would be awesome no matter which performance it's from, I just prefer the one that came with SFTU. Even though the track was technically part of the official release, it wasn't on the CD and only those who used the limited free trial to LPU had access to it.

  3. There's a giant DSP torrent, and I happen to have them all... if you want this particular track from the DSP I can upload tomorrow. Hell I can give you the full show if you want. Since DSPs can't be purchased you can download them now

I'm not asking for the full show, just for the track featuring Chris Cornell that the band gave for free to those who bought SFTU. If anyone who bought the CD back in 2008 and got access to the free download while it was available, I hope they can share it.

  4. I don't know if this falls into the category of requests, but I know when Songs From The Underground came out in 2008, those who bought it got a limited free trial to LPU and access to a free download of HHH/Crawling Feat. Chris Cornell from the same show as the performance of Hunger Strike Feat. Chester Bennington on that CD. I believe this was the performance, correct me if I'm wrong: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLxLwgIw478

Does anybody have a legal link to download the track?

  5. I asked this question on another thread and I didn't get an answer.

I can't access the downloads for some reason. Every time I try to click on an mp3 or FLAC download link, it just redirects me to the main home page. I thought maybe it was just my browser, so I tried a different one, but that didn't work either. Are the download links broken or are they being blocked by certain devices?

    UPDATE: Never mind, it's working.

  8. Linkin Park's lyrics for a long time were criticized for being "angsty" or "whiny" as if they were just complaining about something petty like "nobody understands me", but now people will realize just how dark and deep their lyrics actually were. Chester's lyrics were cries for help, but everyone ridiculed him and turned them into memes.

And just when we thought his demons were behind him during A Thousand Suns, One More Light really showed how they were still haunting him and never went away. I couldn't stand Heavy when it came out, but now I find it very beautiful and haunting in the wake of this tragic event. Chester was desperately crying for someone to reach out to him and no one cared. They just continued to make fun of him and "meme" him. They only care about him now that it's too late.

Also, I'm absolutely devastated knowing that I'll never get to see them live or meet Chester and tell him what an inspiration he was to me. I looked up to him not just as an incredible musician, but a role model. It kills me that my hero is gone and no one reached out to him when he needed them.

  9. God, it makes me feel so old knowing that this album came out ten years ago. I love its overall message and it's even more relevant now in the era of Donald Trump than it was during the era of George W. Bush. The threat of climate change and the possibility of WWIII breaking out are increasing more and more every day and listening to this album gives me hope and inspires me to be active.
