He recorded the tv version while I grabbed the raw stream that's the difference but the stream misses OSC and the sound isn't as good as the tv version so I used that audio source for the upload.

No it's not HD actually it's just the best quality (1280x720 @ 6mbps) so my version is around 5gb.

I tried to contact the other uploader to get the tv recording but nothing happened so far :/

So that VOD online file was the stream file or screen recording?

This 5 gb mp4 file was a screen recording.

Damn this site sucks so bad I can't even watch it maybe because of my location but even with several proxys and vpn stuff.

Since the site is using it's own web player it's very hard to catch the stream - for now.

Funny thing is they are about to show highlights from Download Festival 2014 (2014-12-26).

And they did the same with Sonisphere 2009.

Well at this point I doubt that they'll do a release of this show because of these technical issues...hopefully I'm wrong but at least there won't be a Bluray at all I'm pretty sure cause it's Linkin Park !
Sry but every release since 2010 was a total joke to me and the worst thing was the MTV World Stage 2012 DVD including

a HALF set I mean WTF ???

What are you talking about ?? The whole video is 2 source (Phospho) and the 'Anything, anything' track

has also the 'Phospho' logo in it!
I just changed the order by making it the last song since it's about Fort Minor in this case not more. At this point I didn't had another source as well as many other people out there...I guess.

The MTV Spain version is a bad upscale and MTV isn't broadcasting in 1080p as well as any other tv station!

It was shot in 16:9 but not broadcasted in 4:3 letterboxed that's all.

16:9 dosen't mean it has to be HD.

It has to be a reupload with old stats...somehow

You're all very welcome! My apologies for not releasing it years ago, and especially my apologies for uploading it in the format it is.... I actually have a DVD I made years ago, but it's literally 300 miles away from me right now. And it was done with an analog capture card I think so I figured the quality might not be as good as something made from the DV file, but then again I probably don't know what I'm talking about

Pretty sure that somebody will take care of making the DVD real soon but it's also great to have such raw cam file ^^

It makes no difference, but I for example prefer CD wave (which works with wave and flac only) over mp3directcut any time. Going through wave also makes it easy to do minor editing like fades and the volume without re-encoding it again, AC3 always has a pretty low gain.

Well I'm using my video software to encode the audio source to mp3.

Which makes it very easy to edit the volume, cuts, fad in/fade out, etc...but like you said there are many other ways for this task here of course.

Why do you convert it to wav first instead of this way: (AC-3, 2 channels, Bit rate 192kbps) > mp3 192 ?
