  1. After listening to the high quality mix on youtube, I do think it sounds better then when I first heard it. That being said, I still don't think the actual song was mixed/ mastered properly. The vocals just don't come through the mix at all and it takes away from some of the song's potential energy.

  2. The actual guitar playing was very nice in the song, but the production quality was horrible IMO. The guitars sound nowhere near as nice as the ones heard on their first 3 albums and this mix sounds like something we'd get on an LPU CD or something. Not only that but the vocals just weren't performed well and the lyrics weren't really LP quality either. It just needed better production in general.

Now I feel stupid for being disappointed with BID when it came out

  3. I think Astat means that there were worse remixes on Recharged than ALTNC as a song itself. I agree with him on that. I like most of Recharged a lot but I definitely have to be in the right mood to play it and some of the remixes are kind of awful.

Yeah, I forgot there was even a ALTNC remix EP. I don't even think I listened to all of them. To be honest though, the only remixes I loved on Recharged were the ones Mike did himself.
  4. Is it wrong that part of me hopes the new album would take longer? I mean, ATS took 4 years and I thought it was flawless IMO, while LT took almost half of that and some of the songs were lacking. It just worries me that pushing out albums like this might reduce their overall quality. I don't know, I think I've just been more about quality rather than quanity.

  5. I feel like the only reason we aren't getting any good ATS/ LT demos is because the really good ones are saved for potential future albums. Other than that, I'm happy we got a fair amount of demos from past LPUCDs. It truly is better than nothing because I remember such a day when the LP community was starved for unreleased songs *cough*2008*cough*

  6. One of the problems I have with all the Ghost Town videos is that even though their concepts and ideas are creative, they always seem like they're not able to fully execute them correctly in their videos. I think it mostly has to do with cinematography. The angles they choose always make it hard to comprehend what the point of the video is. If they showed longer clips of the digital city that developed the story and less of the random blue shit that ruins the video, then this would be a great video.
