linkin park hit the stage after a long break. mr.jahn joined the stage at first with an gothic-intro (not session), then it all went into 'dont stay', followed by a bunch of more meteora songs. chester's left arm was broken and he looked very sick.

their setlist was (in no order):

dont stay, somewhere i belong,

lying from you (chester messed up the shout part after the second chorus),

runaway, faint, figure.09, with you (reanimation chorus), papercut, from the inside, points of authority, by myself (new intro),

p5hng me a*wy (really surprised to hear that song live, but rob messed up his first drum part haha),

numb (horrible), crawling,

one step closer (aaron lewis joined the stage for screaming the 'shut up' part along with chester),

in the end (everyone sang alone), a place for my head (crowd enclosure, which sucked; chester went nuts while screaming the 'go away' part, he looked like he was bit by a snake or something haha)

.

what is this gothic intro?

I'm pretty sure this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJ_hGvUf8zc is the "gothic intro". I don't have a Euro 2003 show here right now to compare it but I'm pretty sure they used this one.

sounds like you're right.

- This was the final 2003 Linkin Park show.

imo, it's not necessary to note that. but if it is, we need to add it to every last show of every year (right now it's only in 2003).

Chester forgot the words after "When you've suffered enough, and your spirit is breaking" try to remember

"growing tired from the fight, you growing wrestles, what is it? wtf i wrote this song and i can't even remember this... desperate! this what it is!"

and start the song all over again.

after the break he continued from where he stopped.

09 - Where'd You Go (feat. Holly Brook) [pt. 2]

did they stopped and continue, stopped and started all over again?

They (Deftones) came back on for the encore and chino layed into 'the boys republic' with the ferocity of some wild animal...half way through the song the singer from taproot bounded onto the stage and began screaming along with chino while the linkin park drummer smashed along with abe at the back. the song finished and the two singers from linkin park came on along with a couple guitarists...headup kicked in and it was amazing.....the 4 singers and everything just made the song so much more raw and energetic! it was like a dream....obviously it was to chino also, who had a massive grin on his face and stef who left his guitar and began throwing things around the stage and into the pits. i usually don't much like the 2 support bands but this was literally the best finale to any gig I have ever been to.

The intro to their last song, "One Step Closer" played, and the crowd went nuts... I almost got knocked out of my row because everyone was so crazy. Near the end of the song, Mike went offstage and down onto the floor with everyone in the pit. Some girl grabbed his mic, and started singing into it, and she was passing it all around to everyone. The band just kept singing, and Mike finally got the mic back, just in time for the end of the song.

The best part of the whole concert was when CHESTER MOONED THE CROWD!!! It was awsome!!! I saw his ass!!! It was white as snow but........I still saw it !!!!!!!!!!

about the setlist:

They started with With You and then they played all the songs on Hybrid Theory and a couple of old ones like Step Up and My December(Chester had to sit down to sing that one, I think he needed a break)

and we have My Own Summer (Shove It) here. Edited by Skipees

http://lplive.net/shows/20000905.php

Song Notes:

  • Cure For The Itch - Robotic Outro
  • Forgotten - Drum Sample Intro
Show Notes:

  • The outro to Cure For The Itch featured the infamous "YOU CANNOT FUCK WITH THIS BAND" quote.
  • After the A Place For My Head bridge, a fan climbed up on stage, dove into the crowd, and started crowd surfing.
  • Before One Step Closer, Chester asked the crowd what song they had forgotten. When they responded with One Step Closer, they started playing the song.
