Geki Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Do you guys think there will be a winter arena tour in the US next year? There is a lot of talk going around that there might be. Although, I'm not sure how they could fit it in, since the Australian shows are in February and run kind of throughout into March. Maybe they could kick one off at the start of January and end it a few days into February or something. I'm worried though, because tickets would have went on sale by now, right? I hope the Honda Civic Tour wasn't the only US tour for this album cycle... That would suck, especially because the US didn't get to see more the half the songs on the new album live. What do you think? Quote
RogueSoul Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I don't see why not. They usually hit the US twice with the exception of ATS. Quote
Geki Posted August 28, 2012 Author Posted August 28, 2012 I don't see why not. They usually hit the US twice with the exception of ATS. MTM had 3 full US tours, that was amazing. Meteora had 5 full US tours, if you include the dates from the LPU tour. Hybrid Theory's entire world tour was mostly US dates. ATS only had 1 US tour. Kind of weird considering the patterns from past album cycles, right? I hope Living Things does not follow suit. That would be extremely lame. Quote
Astat Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Chester's indicated that they'll do another U.S. tour before the end of the cycle, but with the timing of the Soundwave shows, I think it's more likely that they'll be back here next summer for another amphitheater tour. Quote

Same. Fiore said they're doing a US tour next year so we will see. I'd rather it be an amphitheatre tour that hits different cities (like Florida and other places that didn't get shows this tour) than an arena tour...not a fan of LP in arenas. Do like Jones Beach and maybe Camden but then do a lot of venues they didn't do on this run (there are plenty). Quote
ChuckCheese Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I'm more for a summer amphitheatre tour than a winter arena tour. Quote
Dave-Stone55 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 If it's in the summer I'd hope for PR but already given up on that dream. Never seen them in an outdoor setting though so I wouldn't mind if they came back a little bit later than next winter! Quote

I do think it would be cool to hit up some places they haven't played in a while on a summer tour, but they should still keep some of the same locations. Quote

LIVING THINGS has to be doing better than ATS in the USA so hopefully that will convince the proper authorities to do one Quote

So maybe there will be! Would love to see another PR. I can think of a lot of great bands. Quote
