tschenneck Posted November 2, 2011 Share Posted November 2, 2011 (edited) Linkin Park have been added to the rumors for the Rock Am Ring Festival 2012 in Nürburg, Germany by ringrocker.com, the community of the festival. Bands are being added by admins who got words on the possible Line Up so the chance that these rumors are legit is pretty high. That would probably mean that there is a tour coming in 2012! Guess we'll have to wait for confirmations by the band or festival. They are added every year to the rumors especially because the organizer of Rock Am Ring also organizes the german tour dates of Linkin Park. They will play during the process of them making a new album and play a new song they've been working on, just like they did with QWERTY. They will play during the process of them making a new album and play a new song they've been working on, just like they did with QWERTY. they'd been trapped in the studio for an entire year before QWERTY was played in that little run of festivals. Geki Posted November 3, 2011 Share Posted November 3, 2011 I highly doubt this is true, but on a freak chance the album IS out by the summer of next year, why not play some European spring/summer festivals and then do a PR in the states? It would be awesome if LP actually did a decent US tour again, the last time they did one was in 2008. The winter tour this year sucked ass, the band had an extreme lack on energy for some odd reason and they canceled tons of shows and didn't even bother to make up a few, and then they go and cancel Pensacola like a week before the show. So all in all, the US got ONE shitty winter tour and 3 off US shows (NYC 2010, LA and Vegas 2011 summer). Yet the band is from the US. Doesn't make much sense. Everywhere should get equal touring for an album cycle. The last years they canceled because they wanted to play on a touring festival like PR and of course they won't have that much to while writing songs for the new album and so on. I just hope 2012 won't be a year like 2005 and 2006 where they only played a few shows because they worked on MTM.
