annare
I just had this idea. To put ALL LP songs in order by the time they were made, not released. We don't have enough information about when some songs were made, but still. I myself think it'd be awesome, what do you guys think? 1996_LP
Great idea! Leftshoe18 would be great at this! But do u wanna include all the demos & remixes aswell? StaticXero
we should begin with the xero era Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/6202-linkin-park-chronology/#findComment-116321 Share on other sites
hawk
But do u wanna include all the demos & remixes aswell? I'd say no. Seeing as they aren't like, "official" if you know what I mean. Twiilite
I'd say no. Seeing as they aren't like, "official" if you know what I mean. I'd say yes. Sure it makes the task more daunting and challenging, but at the same time the list will be more "complete". rsw2010
I think this is a great idea. We should definatly include demos & remixes. That way, it would be more complete. *Pages Astat* lol Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/6202-linkin-park-chronology/#findComment-116342 Share on other sites
annare
Maybe we can start by just putting the 'official' songs and when we are done, If we want, add later demos, remixes and all that. But I'd include demos too So the oldest thing we have is the Xero sampler tape right? Any demos before this? What about Stick N' Move demo from LPU9? And Coal? annare
Coal is from 1997, what I don't know is about Stick N' Move demo. Since there is a song called Stick N' Move in the Xero tape and this is a demo of the song, it makes sense that was made before it? Lotsa_spaghetti
There's a version of Stick and Move made in '97, which was found on the Xero Demo, and there was the other version made in '98, which is on LPU9. rsw2010
Yep. The Xero Demo(Fuse, Stick and Move, Reading My Eyes, Rhinestone), Pictureboard, Coal, and Esaul were all written in 1997-1998. only the demo tape and Coal have been released. Esaul, most likely was rewritten before it was put on the HT demo tape. And we all know about Pictureboard..lol Stick N' Move (LPU9 Version), Sad, and Oh No were written in 1998. From the sounds of it, they were probably done by Mike as simple beats, probably before Chester joined, and they worked on them after he joined. 1996_LP
Sad was written in 1999. I think that version of it was written in 1998 though by just mike & Joe. It wasn't turned into "Super Xero" until Chester joined in 1999, so it still could work.
