Cleaned up a small bit of the show notes. Helpful setlist info is at the bottom of this page.

http://lplive.net/2004.php

Added a star with a link beside the Pensacola date.

I made a lot of corrections to all Linkin Park show pages. Mainly it was done to the code, so you won't notice it if you just open the page. But inside it became A LOT more simple and structured, so even those who don't know HTML can easily guess what's used for which purposes.

Some stuff I made:

- Added Previous Show - Next show links to every page.

- Removed extra lines and spaces in code, which sometimes were in crazy amounts in code, which resulted in pages being too heavy. This reduced the size of some pages.

- I tried to make every page look the same. Many of pages had very different spaces between the same code, so I fixed all of that.

- A lot of pages had extra unneeded tags that sometimes were in ridiculous places. Some of them repeated lots of times, which made hard to understand the code itself. I fixed it all.

- All of the pages used internal CSS code to change color of Sources. I moved it to external CSS file and edited all pages to take it from there. Now to change color of the Source to green, red or blue do it this way as shown on picture - Pic.

- Some of the pages were missing some html tags, mainly closing ones. I fixed most of them.

- Some of the Taper, Comments, Time, Location or other lines in Source description were not bolded. i fixed that too.

- added links to the next pages: (They were in the show folder, but were not linked to)

11.04.2003 Evansville, IN, Robert's Stadium, Projekt Revolution Tour

08.04.2003 Rochester, NY, Blue Cross Arena, Projekt Revolution Tour

16.01.2004 Fairfax, VA, Patriot Center, Meteora World Tour

17.01.2004 Worcester, MA, Worcester Centrum Centre, Meteora World Tour

30.01.2004 Madison, WI, Alliant Energy Center, Meteora World Tour

10.02.2004 West Valley City, UT, E Center, Meteora World Tour

13.02.2004 Tacoma, WA, Tacoma Dome, Meteora World Tour

- found Missing link:

15.10.2003 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Stadium Merdeka, Australia and Asia Tour

- In 2003 main page I suppose I separated some of the dates by months, like it is done on all other pages. On this page dates from two or more months were written together.

Fuc* it. I did a lot of stuff these days. I can't even remember what exactly did I fix....

If you find anything not working please submit it to the appropriate thread.

Wow nice work Serg! The ":" in the sources were not meant to be bold but that doesn't matter.

I noticed the tons of empty lines too, must have been a lot work!

Thanks. The ":" were sometimes bold, and sometimes not, so I made all of them bold, because I thought that : is right after the Source word without a space, so it could be bold too. But on the other hand, if it was "," or "." I think I wouldn't have bolded it...

Yeah, that was a lot of work. Lots of pages had totally different amount of spaces and auto replace didn't work.

I did the same stuff to all of the pages now, including Fort Minor, Julien-K, Chester.

Not counting what I did before, this time fixes included:

- adding "mins" after time in some cases.

- gb -> GB

- added these pages to Fm.php:

17.08.2007 Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Blossom Music Center, Projekt Revolution Tour

19.08.2007 Bristow, VA, Nissan Pavilion, Projekt Revolution Tour

- fixed problem with rotating banners on most of the pages, which was caused by me.

I checked all FM pages and LP pages till http://www.lplive.net/shows/20030320.php if I didn't fuck up anything. Found some bugs and fixed them. If there is anyone willing to continue checking - I will be only glad.

What needs to be checked in the first place:

- Title of the page (it should have the same date as dates on the page itself).

- Check if all words such as Taper, Location, Time, etc are bolded.

- Check if in Time field there is word "mins" (In case if there are digits and not words, which means 8:06 and not Unknown).

- Check color of the Sources. Some of them could be black.

- Check spacing.

P.S. BTW, I think I rewrote all fixes that anybody made since yesterday, because I haven't updated my local files, when I continued to add links today for CB, FM, JK pages...

So, AndOne, make all you updates again please.

Did the same stuff to the main pages: 2000-2009, cb, fm, jk, dbs.

Slightly changed methods of making spaces between months.

Now instead of two br tags we should use closing p tag at the end of month, and opening p tag at the beginning of the next month. You can open code of any page to see how it looks.

Changed:

14.12.2000 Tucson, AZ, Rialto Theatre, KFMA Radio Show > 14.12.2000 Tucson, AZ, Rialto Theatre, KFMA Free Ball Show

Re: Linkin Park 2000

To: "felipe intheend" <felipe_intheend@yahoo.com.br>

It was a KFMA Free Ball, a free show. We got lucky. Unfortunately, I don't have anything from the show anymore. Hope this helps.

Fixed a few typos on several pages (thx Chromana)

Overworked the Abbreviations pages

Added the following notes by Mark:

Dublin:

- After 'Points Of Authority', Mike said that they had received a double platinum award for Minutes To Midnight earlier in the day, and then introduced the next single, 'Leave Out All The Rest'.

- Mike mumbles "I'm so....cold" over the intro to 'Pushing Me Away'.

- Chester messed up (or maybe on purpose?) 'Valentine's Day' yet again. The first line sounded something like 'My insides are born to blast' or perhaps 'My insides are burned to grass' instead of the usual line.

- 'A Place For My Head' did not have the extended guitar intro by Brad. In the LPTV episode from the tour, you can see Brad and Phoenix standing backstage. Phoenix tells Brad that he won't "play unless they want it", but Brad immediately starts the intro to 'A Place For My Head'.

Munchen:

- Chester mentioned that this was the biggest Projekt Revolution show to date. However, it was later outdone by Milton Keynes a few shows later.

Lisboa:

- The intro to 'Pushing Me Away' was stopped and restarted so that Chester could address the crowd.

Changed the source numbering.

23.02.2008 London - Added source with sample

07.06.2008 Madrid - Updated source 3 + added source 2b

Few corrections, see submitted show corrections thread.

Added 'Guest Appearances' to the FM page, marked the shows as SOB shows on the main page.

Cleaned up the pages for those 2 shows.

Thanks to AndOne I found out that editing the color of the shows on main pages caused other shows' colors to be wrong, and spoil the code in many places.

So I optimized it a little bit once again on main pages (2000-2009, cb, fm, dbs, julienk).

From now on you can, actually you should, do it only this way to change color on main pages, as shown on the picture below:

Picture

Select a show you want to blacken or make it red or blue, including a date, even if it has a link, and date's color won't change. Now select from Class dropdown list - color name that you need.

That's all I think.

25.05.2007 Stockholm - Corrected equipment for source 2

08.03.2008 West Valley City - Edited comment on source 1 and corrected time

23.08.2008 Dallas - Added source.

Did some more minor corrections, fixed a few things on the livelist and livelistchester.

Restructured the livelistchester page.

Prepared livelistdbs for a later adding + prepared the content page

Updated the canceledshows list (Heineken and Albuquerque)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2001.php

12.03.2001 Offenbach - Offenbacher Stadthalle -> Stadthalle Offenbach

That's what the building says: http://www.eventlocation-rhein-main.de/ima..._stadthalle.jpg

28.04.2001 Zephyr Hills - added Livestock Festival

08.05.2001 - Re-added Mt. Eden cause I think it's essential for the exact location, Auckland is not only a city, it's also a region, and Mt. Eden is a part of the city.

19.05.2001 Tinley Park - Tweeter Music Center -> Tweeter Center

08.06.2001 Tinley Park - New World Amphitheatre -> Tweeter Center

Both are the same venue. After a lot of researching I found out the name change from New World Music Theater to Tweeter Center happened around April 2001.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Added canceled show:

26.09.2000 Columbus - Edited 2000 page, added page for the show, edited links for the show before and after, edited the 2000 summary, edited the canceled show list.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Added new tour date:

08.07.2000 Los Angeles, CA, Whisky A Go Go

The news post explains it I think

Added 5 new banners (203-207) including 3 kickass old school ones (first 3 of those).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Added pages for the following shows, but without setlist!

12.06.2001 Noblesville (pma.com tour stories)

28.07.2001 Burgettstown (pma.com tour stories)

08.08.2001 Mansfield (some old news page)

31.10.2001 Atlanta (show info from pics)

I think those moments are totally worth to mention on the show pages even though it's all the info we have about it. The are a part of LP's live history. It's not always about the setlists.

  • 2 weeks later...

I don't know when Mark is going to post it, but until I forgot about it, I'll post about it here.

I fixed the issue with banners. Script that we were using to rotate banners was written in such a way, that it was buffering all the banners, which led the first page you visit to load extremely long. But it had its advantage - every next page wouldn't need to load banner again. But having so many banners as we do - this is not the best way, so we decided to optimize the script, so that it won't buffer any of the banners. You can blame me (SergSlim) for not doing it long time ago, when I first noticed this issue. Having a 256KBps Internet, I noticed this issue each time I had to restart browser. But I was too lazy to look into the solution of this problem, until Mark decided to make main page of the site load faster, by removing the banner rotation from it, and making it show only 1 static banner. It led me to discover the nature of the problem and fix it.
