EWQMinesweeper Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 (edited) "Recently I became email pals with Mike Shinoda of the band Linkin Park and have found him to be two of my favorite things: super-smart and super-nice. This is a special “one-on-one” podcast, with just Mike and myself, as Jonah and Matt were both out of town doing out of town things." Source Might be interesting...haven't listened to it myself yet. EDIT: The music in the beginning is NOT something from 8BR. Edited April 6, 2010 by EWQMinesweeper Quote
Xero21 Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 (edited) Nice to hear Mike finally making some comments on Warner. EDIT: Mike also says the current Linkinpark.com is an interim site. Also some really interesting stuff around the 30:00 mark. Mike says the music is truly a lot different from Hybrid Theory and Minutes To Midnight, and that they could even let some fans hear new music before it comes out to gauge if we like it. Wow, wonder if he is actually considering that or is just stating that they could do it. Edited April 6, 2010 by Xero21 Quote
FaiNt Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 i like the part where Mike talks about Warner and how its basically bullshit with the videos Quote
ernieball003 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Very nice interview/chat. And thin mints are one of, if not the, greatest thing on our planet. Quote
SergSlim Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 It was hard making myself sit tight for a whole hour and listen to that interview and do nothing else (cause when i do something else, I hear the interview, but don't listen to it)... But I did it, and I must say it was a very good one. Quote
Ashwhisker Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Interesting interview. Lot of good stuff in there! Quote
Annoy Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 could someone rip this to audio mp3 or some such? It's blocked here. Quote
Ashwhisker Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 could someone rip this to audio mp3 or some such? It's blocked here. It's already a downloadable mp3... Quote
Qwerty18 Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Mike says the music is truly a lot different from Hybrid Theory and Minutes To Midnight And Chester said the music was a mix between Hybrid Theory and MTM. A lot of contradictions in their description of the new record, like always. Quote
Annoy Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 It's already a downloadable mp3... I can not access Nerdist.com to download. Is it posted on LPLIVE? no? Okay then. Quote
