While I think, for some reason, LP holds him back a little bit, he shouldn't be regarded as one of the best drummers in the business. Some of his loops and material is just plain amateurish including 75% of his drum solos. With that said, some of his best work include (in no order) A Place For My Head, Easier to Run, and Little Things Give You Away. By FAR, his best solo was Montreal 2008.
