RogueSoul Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Hello from the new LPLive headquarters in Germany (a.k.a. our AirBNB)! Hahninator, Jon D. Barker, AndOne, and yours truly have returned to Deutschland and are ready to wrap up this Euro trip with a massive TWO NIGHTS at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany for their sixth and seventh shows (seventh and eighth performances overall) in the city, the first of which is tonight, June 11, 2026! The band's most recent performance in Munich was actually within the From Zero World Tour itself, and while it wasn't a full show, it may arguably be the band's most viewed performance ever. The band performed at the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show in May 2025, playing a unique medley of shortened hits including 'The Emptiness Machine,' 'Up From The Bottom,' 'Numb,' 'In The End,' and 'Heavy Is The Crown.' The quick performance was seen by millions worldwide watching the event - and was preceded by the announcement of the band's 2026 European Stadium tour that we are on right now. Linkin Park's last proper show in Munich was way back in 2014 on The Hunting Party World Tour, featuring the likes of 'Guilty All The Same,' 'Rebellion,' and 'Final Masquerade' in the set - along with 'Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You' and the current talk-of-the-town 'With You.' Can Munich do it again? Linkin Park's full UEFA Champions League Kick Off Show performance at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany on May 31, 2025. Just over a year later, the band are back at the venue - twice sold out - for their own shows! Prior to that show, Linkin Park's next most recent show in Munich also happened to be the last show to date branded Projekt Revolution - the band brought a string of headlining shows around Europe under the guise of Projekt Revolution: Europe in the midst of their 2011 European Tour during the A Thousand Suns World Tour, with a lineup featuring some real throwbacks: Guano Apes, Dredg, Anberlin, and Middle Class Rut. Meanwhile, the band's prior show on their 2008 Summer Tour was the first to promoted under this Projekt Revolution: Europe mini-tour (which also featured the Roads To Revolution Milton Keynes show). This set was full of amazing songs too, including a full 'Reading My Eyes,' 'Wake 2.0,' and a 'One Step Closer' show opener. The band's first two shows in the city date all the way back to 2001 - the latter of the two coming on their 2001 European Tour in September, their first headlining tour on the continent. We don't have a setlist for this show (if you have any info, be sure to let us know! link below for the Linkinpedia contact), but we do know that the venue was upgraded to a larger one due to demand. Their very first show in Munich was an opening slot on the Deftones' 'Back To School' Tour in March 2001, playing through pretty much everything from Hybrid Theory barring 'Cure For The Itch' and 'Crawling.' With the band back at the Allianz Arena for their own show this time, we sure history will continue in the city with these two back-to-back shows! Some old-school cool: Linkin Park performing 'Reading My Eyes' at the Reitstadion Riem in Munich, Germany on June 21, 2008. Simply don't know what we'd do if something like this happened in the big '26 - but perhaps 'With You' could be the spark that ignites our reaction... After two massively successful shows at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, the band returned to their headlining show course in Vienna, Austria at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion. Though it may have rained and connection was subzero, the crowd pulled through and saw a variety of good rotations, including the second performance of 'Lost In The Echo' this year as well as 'Over Each Other,' 'Lies Greed Misery,' 'IGYEIH,' and 'Let You Fade' making appearances as well. With any two night stand, anything is possible for these next shows. The one question on everyone's mind right now is: when will 'With You' make another appearance? Going back all the way to Hamburg night one, 'With You' was spotted on a stray setlist handed to a fan in the rotation spot where 'A Place For My Head' was played (i.e. after 'Waiting For The End') - could it feature there on one of these nights? Or did the band save it for the one night at Rock am Ring? Other rotation songs still missing from Europe include 'Keys To The Kingdom,' 'Given Up,' 'Castle Of Glass,' and also 'Leave Out All The Rest' - it's possible these songs have been their last of the From Zero World Tour at this rate, but there is still time yet for surprises! Linkin Park performing 'Lost In The Echo' at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna, Austria on June 11, 2026. With a handful of rotation songs still left in their back pocket, will Linkin Park whip out some more goods between two nights in Munich? Who's going to the show? The LPLive crew and whole slew of other fans will be in Munich for the two shows before I sadly have to go back to work next week, but we're gonna ride this tour out high! If you see us hanging out during the day, be sure to say hi! Linkin Park's second show in Munich and final show in Germany on this world tour will be tomorrow, June 12 before the band continues east for a headlining performance at the Download festival in England and a headlining performance in Lyon, France (that will feature a special edition vinyl available only at this show!). As always, we are looking for pictures or scans of a number of items from the band's 2025 and 2026 tour, including wristbands, tickets, setlists, exclusive pop-up store content, and more. If you have anything to contribute, check out our thread on the matter and submit your pictures directly to us - if they meet the mark we will get them uploaded to the show pages and credit you (and also blur your information out where applicable)! Last year we launched an LPLive Newsletter for those looking for more of a TL;DR version of what's going on with the tour than my pre-show posts - we'll be sending it out every couple of weeks so as to not flood your inbox, and will be bringing you an overview of both tour and general news updates, so be sure to sign up if you haven't already! We'll have you covered on everything the band does at this show and everything they whip out for the rest of the year, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook)!
