RogueSoul Posted Saturday at 03:11 AM Posted Saturday at 03:11 AM We're off and running, people! The From Zero World Tour has officially begun its first European Leg, with the second stop taking the band back to Czechia for their first ever appearance at the country's Rock For People festival in Hradec Králové on June 14, 2025. It's been eight years since Linkin Park last returned to Czechia, but it's been sooner for some members of the band: Mike Shinoda's Post Traumatic Tour was the last time a member of Linkin Park visited the country to perform, stopping by in Praha in March 2019 on the final stretch of his massive tour. For those who were around, you'll remember the Post Traumatic Tour as both a healing experience and a wild ride for fans, as Mike was changing the setlist up completely on a day-to-day basis. His show in Praha was no different, with a plethora of surprises including 'Lift Off' featuring verses from 'Step Up,' 'High Voltage,' and 'Hands Held High' (wow), Lenny Filipová joining him during the encore for 'Make It Up As I Go,' and the 'Robot Boy' Intro going into the piano style version of 'Castle Of Glass' for the first time. Linkin Park has history with Czechia, something which Mike mentioned at the show: during the Meteora era, the band filmed the music video for 'From The Inside' and part of the video for 'Numb' right in Praha! While 'Numb' is almost a definite for the setlist, maybe we'll see 'From The Inside' make its European Tour Debut at this show to commemorate this! The entirety of Linkin Park last performed in the country in 2017, performing at the Aerodrome Festival for the second stop on the One More Light European Tour. Interestingly, the band was announced as a headliner for a festival with the same name (and also in Czechia) all the way back in 2004, but the show was neither confirmed nor performed by the band in the end, with that festival (apparently having no relation to the one they played in 2017) ceasing in 2006. The band did eventually play an Aerodrome Festival, though, bursting onto the stage with the fan-favorite 'Roads Untraveled'/'Fallout' mashup intro straight into 'Talking To Myself.' Mike dedicated 'One More Light' at this show to his uncle Kenji who had recently passed away - Fort Minor fans will certainly recognize that name. This was the band's first show in Czechia in nine years (beating out the gap between 2017 and 2025!), with their previous performance being in Brno in 2008 on the Minutes To Midnight Summer European Tour. Opening with an immense combination of 'One Step Closer' with its Gunshot Intro #2 right into 'Lying From You' with its 2008 Intro, Linkin Park certainly made an entrance in a big way at this show. This headline show also featured an incredible rare performance of 'Reading My Eyes,' a Xero song only performed by the band in full a handful of times in 2006 and 2008 (and likely during the band's time as Xero, though we don't have any confirmed setlists from that era). Other treats from this show include the piano version of 'Pushing Me Away,' 'Wake 2.0,' and 'From The Inside.' Around the time of this show, Mike entered a studio in Nouvoz, music from these sessions being released a few years down the road on LPU XIV. A well-known audience recording of the band's full show in Brno, Czechia on June 17, 2008. Be sure to check out the band's performance of rare tracks like 'Reading My Eyes,' which starts around 25 minutes into this video. The band's second performance in the country was in the summer of 2007, deep into the first proper tour they had embarked on in almost three years: the first Minutes To Midnight European Tour. Opening in similar fashion to 2008 with 'One Step Closer' and 'Lying From You' (with different intros), this show in Praha opened with similar fervor as the band hit through more tracks like 'Papercut' and 'Points Of Authority.' 'The Little Things Give You Away' and 'Leave Out All The Rest' were also taken for spins at this show, not far removed from their live debuts earlier in the tour. As the aforementioned "Aerodrome 04" festival never took place, the band's very first show in Czechia was in 2003, toward the end of the Meteora 2003 European Tour in September. Featuring Meteora epics like 'Figure.09' and 'Don't Stay,' as well as treats like 'P5hng Me A*wy' from Reanimation and 'One Step Closer' featuring Marky Chavez from Adema, Linkin Park's debut in the country was as big as it could possible have been. With an eclectic history in the country ranging from music video shoots to rare track performances, the band's next show in the country will definitely be another one for the record books. The band kicked off their 2025 European Tour on Thursday with a performance at Austria's Nova Rock festival. As iconic as festival for the band as the likes of Rock am Ring (which the band will be headlining in 2026), the band's European Tour came to powerful start. The start of the show was a bit bumpy with Emily missing cues on songs like 'Somewhere I Belong' and 'New Divide,' but the band eventually found their footing as they continued through their first show of the run. It seems like the band takes a few shows lately to get fully back into the swing of things after having a break from touring, but their show at Nova Rock was nothing to sneeze at as they delivered epic performances of tracks like 'Two Faced' and 'Up From The Bottom.' While the set was mostly the same as the Welcome To Rockville setlist (barring 'A Place For My Head,' likely due to time constraints of their 90-minute set allocation), Linkin Park lit the night up with a mix of heavy new tracks and old classics alike. 'Let You Fade' returned the set for another encore performance, being played for the second time ever after its debut in Florida last month. The most notable omission from the setlist was 'Waiting For The End,' which was absent from the last festival setlist, too. Perhaps 'Let You Fade' is being prioritized over it, but everyone's comments on social media have made it apparent to us that everyone is feeling the absence of the song strongly! Linkin Park's full performance at the Nova Rock festival in Nickelsdorf, Austria on June 12, 2025 that kicked off the From Zero European Tour. The band has about 10 more minutes of time to perform at Rock For People compared to their Nova Rock set, so we can expect an extra song or two to be added for this show. Mike posted a poll on Twitter earlier today, asking fans to vote for which songs they should play in Czechia, offering three choices (with the least voted not being played): 'Lying From You,' 'Points Of Authority,' and 'Cut The Bridge.' As of the time of posting to this, 'Lying From You' and 'Points' have a distinct lead over 'Cut The Bridge,' so it's looking likely that we'll see those two in the set somewhere. 'Points Of Authority' could be added in mid-set where 'A Place For My Head' and 'Waiting For The End' were being performed at the last shows, or perhaps return early in the set like where it was being played in 2024. Fans are eager to see 'Waiting For The End' (and the partial 'Where'd You Go' performance that precedes it) as well, but perhaps we'll have to wait for the next show (a headlining show in Hannover, Germany) to see is return. We don't expect crazy surprises to happen, it at all, until the headlining shows begin next week. However, since the debut of 'Let You Fade' and the inclusion of 'A Place For My Head' at Welcome To Rockville truly caught us all off guard, who knows what we'll be in store for! Let us know what you think the setlist will look like and what your predictions are. Who's going to the show? Weatherman Rogue Soul here to happily report another beautiful day in store for Linkin Park, with a high temperature of 25°C for most of the day and clear skies. Things will get a bit chilly later in the night as things fall down to 9°C, so be sure to have a hoodie or sweater ready to go as the night progresses. Joining the band on the MainStage will be the likes of Biffy Clyro (a fantastic band from Scotland who are about to kick off their next album cycle), Fontaines D.C., Motionless In White, and Sigrid. Other acts on other stages throughout the day also include Thrice, Creeper, Refused, Stray From The Path, and many more to keep you entertained and rocking until Linkin Park finally hits the stage at 9:25pm. The band's set time is slated for 9:25pm to 11:05pm, giving them about ten more minutes of extra set time compared to Nova Rock. After this show, the band have a run of three headlining shows in arenas in Hannover, Hamburg, and Bern (Switzerland), supported by grandson and Architects throughout next week before returning to the festival run with sets at Hellfest in Clisson, France and the I-Days festival (which is more or less a headlining show) in Milan, Italy. We've been updating our Linkinpedia show pages over the last few weeks leading up to the tour with new features like more statistics, highlighting rotation songs, a banner at the top of the guide, and lots more, so be sure to head over there and explore what we've been up to! We've also recently launched an LPLive Newsletter for those looking for more of a TL;DR version of what's going on with the tour than my pre-show posts - we'll be sending it out every couple of weeks so as to not flood your inbox, but we'll be bringing you an overview of both tour and general news updates in these, so be sure to sign up if you haven't already! Things will certainly start heating up setlist-wise next week as the headlining shows begin, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook)! Quote
LPLStaff Posted Saturday at 04:06 AM Posted Saturday at 04:06 AM Interesting Mike already knew ASAP they had a longer set at show 2 than show 1. If he's saying both Points and LFY (2 of the 3 on the poll), then WFTE could get played. Let's see what happens. This appears to be the longest set time they get in Europe on this tour at a festival. The rest so far appear to be 90 minutes while this is 100 minutes. Quote
maateusz Posted Saturday at 04:34 AM Posted Saturday at 04:34 AM I'm gonna be there. This will be my first LP concert ever, my dream will finally come true. Sadly I wasn't at LP concert when Chester was still with us, and it's one of biggest regrets in my life. Today I'm gonna sing, scream, jump, cry there. This will be the best two hours (almost) in my life Quote

LPLStaff Posted Saturday at 04:01 PM Posted Saturday at 04:01 PM That's the only one we don't have the set times for yet, which is quite odd. Quote

Will edit for clarification Quote
