yagamilight207 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Not sure if this is mentioned anywhere, somehow I'm hearing Good Things Go almost the same beat as how Good Goodbye is. Quote

It's been played on every album cycle the band has ever done. It'll show back up soon enough - it's one of their favorite songs. 14 hours ago, JZLP-Benningstrong said: Mike deserves more time for himself He has every right to play any song he wants in his solo spot in the show - he chose Welcome and RTN previously and chooses WTCFM and RTN now. Would love to see High Voltage pop into that spot eventually. WTCFM is fantastic. Never really saw the need for a Fort Minor song in the middle of the LP set but it doesn't hurt, the crowd goes nuts for it. It made sense when Mike didn't tour solo but with LP it's a little odd considering the LP discography is so large. It's no problem though. Quote
leftshoe18 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I love RTN in the set. I wouldn't mind some rotation on that part of the set though. Either different verses worked in or entirely different songs would be cool. Quote

Luki98 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I think Good Things Go will replace Breaking The Habit, that's my bet. It would be nice if they also added Cut The Bridge and Overflow to the setlist. I can't wait for the shows. Quote
juancpin Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I love the whole album, and Cut the bridge, Stained and Overflow are great to make live. Quote

Cut the Bridge and Overflow are great as live versions, but please not Stained, I don't like that song, for me it's the weakest song on the album. Quote
LPLStaff Posted January 25 Author Posted January 25 Would prefer Breaking the Habit to stick around. Drop something like the Friendly Fire/My December spot for now and bring back My December in the fall again. Quote

Yes, of course, My December would be better in the autumn, but I would like to see it live in the current version, even though the concert I'm at is in the summer, I like it. I don't need Friendly Fire in the set list, the song isn't that good. Quote

I really really really dislike how BTH sounds with the new line up its the only song that i cant enjoy, the pitch kills it and there's no emotion from Emily. Quote

Breaking the Habit is also very difficult because I see a lot of people associate BTH with Chester. I really hope that Burn it down will be replaced by another song, I can't stand the song at all. I associate every song w Chester but on 95% of them Emily sounds badass. But there's something totally off about her performance in BTH. Probably Mike singing the verses might work... If i could trade BTH for another song (being realistic) the most natural choice is SHADOW OF THE DAY I loved when Mike did the verses and the U2 mashup Emily might sound good on the chorus plus the set needs more guitar solos. Please not Shadow of the Day, the song is not good, I can't stand it at all. Here are the songs that I don't want to hear live: 01.Until It's Gone 02.Talking to Myself 03.Shadow of the Day 04.Burn it Down 05.Powerless 06.Sorry For Now 07.Stained 08.Not Alone 09.Battle Symphony 10.By Myself Quote
KeysToTheLinkinPark Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Sadly I don't BID getting dropped ever again. It's just too big of a single. Same for TEM only that TEM is a better song imo. Just to throw a song into the batch. I'll Be Gone would be cool. Quote

javignacio Posted January 26 Posted January 26 (edited) there are some songs that will always be in the setlist (mainly singles): from HT: OSC, ITE, Papercut (Crawling as well should be) from Meteora: Faint, Numb from MTM: BIO, WID from ATS: WFTE, The Catalyst (maybe WTCFM) from LT: BID from THP: lol none from OML: none from FZ: TEM (it's to early to tell what other song's gonna be forever, but it will be at least 2 more) so in a full setlist you should start with 11 songs that are always gonna be there edit: also add new divide Edited January 26 by javignacio Quote

I've been to 7 Linkin Park concerts and unfortunately Papercut wasn't played at 1-2 of them. I could imagine that WFTE will be replaced by another song sooner or later. There is no way WFTE will be replaced when it is Mikes favourite LP song ever. As well as the most emotional song for Emily to perform. Quote
LPLStaff Posted January 26 Author Posted January 26 Emily would absolutely nail Powerless, and likely Shadow of the Day too. Quote
