ThunderStrike
In the ending of Little Things, Chester, Mike and Phoenix all sing. I know Chester's parts, but I'm confused about Mike and Phoenix's parts. Their voices sound the same to me Help? There's three singing parts In Live O--ooo-oo for Chaz Little Things Give You Away - PHX All you've ever wanted - Mike EDIT: There's no Phx in studio. parts for Chaz and 1 for Mike. ooo-Chaz Lil things - Mike All you - Chaz Edited April 10, 2009 by Collision Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/1330-question-about-little-things-live/#findComment-19619 Share on other sites
And One LTU
No, Collision, you are wrong about studio version. At the end, there are three voices: Chaz - ooo Mike - little things give you away Phx - all you've ever wanted... LPxDC
Studio: Chester = oh oh Mike = All You've Ever Wanted AND Little Things Give You Away. Its mike's who sings both parts , they just added both of the parts in the mixing at the studio/ LIVE obviously he cant do both live which is why they have Phoenix do the Little Things give you away part, while Mike does the all you ever wanted part. franmansr
ya when the little things give you away first comes in mike sings it, but when the all you ever wanted part comes in then phoenix sing the little things give you away and mike sings all you ever wanted Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/1330-question-about-little-things-live/#findComment-19632 Share on other sites
BeardyWilderness
You have all the right answers in this topic, however unorganised, so here's what it's at: Live: Chester - ohhh's Mike - Little things give you away THEN IT CHANGES Live: Chester - ohhh's Mike - All you've ever wanted Dave - Little things give you away Then the very last part of the song when it calms down, Dave stops singing, Mike and Chester carry on. Studio: Chester - ohhh's Mike - All you've ever wanted AND Little things give you away So basically a mix of what And One LTU, lilIverson09 and franmansr said Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/1330-question-about-little-things-live/#findComment-19635 Share on other sites
And One LTU
Studio: Chester = oh oh Mike = All You've Ever Wanted AND Little Things Give You Away. mmm... I don't think so, for me "All You've Ever Wanted" words sounds more like it's Phoenix singing... But yeah, I can't be 100% sure, maybe it's really Mike... BeardyWilderness
You know, sometimes I think it's Mike, sometimes I think it's Dave. Sounds like Dave when I'm in the car but headphones, Mike. The trick with it is to listen with one headphone as both parts are split channels. EDIT - the "All you've ever wanted" part is definately Mike. The "Little things give you away" sounds like Mike but potentially could be Dave. Astat
Wilderness is the only one who's gotten it right, regarding the live version. Chester sings the "Ohh-ohh" part the whole time. Mike sings the "Little things give you away" part at first. When the "All you ever wanted" part comes in, Mike switches to that, and Phoenix starts singing the "Little things give you away" part. Phoenix stops singing when the instruments stop, so it's just Mike and Chester at the very end. That's how it is, period. And there are actually FOUR vocal parts at the end of the studio version, the "Little things give you away" part is harmonized. The lower of the two harmony parts is not sung live. Phoenix does not sing AT ALL on the studio version, ALL of the vocal parts at the end are Mike, except for the "Ohh-ohh" part, which is Chester.
