There's been a lot of complaining about the simplicity and how cliché the lyrics to Until It's Gone are, so I thought I'd try and rewrite the lyrics so they seem more powerful and striking.

 

This took me about 20 minutes to do, and at 12:40am, too, so there's probably a lot I can fix. What do you guys think?

Hi. Im a new member to this site. I liked what you wrote here. When I listen to the song, however, I sort of feel like the focus is like the realization of the antagonist on Numb. Smothering, but then realizing that you have to let go. Your lyrics are good, but they changed the meaning for me.
