Chester appears in the 30 Seconds To Mars documentary 'Artifact', which premieres tomorrow in three screenings on VyRT.

The film follows the band during the recording process of their third album, 'This Is War' and the $30 million dollar lawsuit by EMI. Many artists make appearances in the film talking about the music industry and how the record labels essentially screw them over when it comes to money.

Chester is listed in the IMBd stats of the movie as well as this screenshot a fan sent to Maik Gianno on Wretches And Kings.

Other artists such as Brandon Boyd from Incubus and Serj Tankian originally from System Of A Down are also in the film.

You can still buy tickets for the screening from the VyRT site. A 20 MINUTE preview can be watched here.

What EMI wants from them?

Basically, EMI wasn't paying them ANYTHING. They were getting screwed over by their label and wanted to leave, but EMI said it was a violation of their contract. They sued MARS with a $30 million lawsuit. The film is about how this doesn't happen to just them, but every artist out there. (Not that they get sued, that they get screwed over by their label)

It wasn't Virgin? I think they are now under EMI/Universal... Not sure at all xD

Alright, the first showing just ended. an hour and a half long. Seriously, if you have the time later tonight get a ticket to see it. It's the most amazing movie I've ever seen. You don't need to like 30 Seconds To Mars for it. If you're interested in how an album is put together and the struggle of the music industry, go buy a ticket. A commentary by Jared (he directed it) and a showing with a performance at the end is still available.

He was in the movie many more times than that. That was only one time. He explained how the music industry is falling quickly and how music is being bought now.

How was it? I saw a 20 minute preview and thought it would be awesome.
