    - Instead of a show intro, Joe just started scratching to start the show and it went into 'With You'.

    - This was a special, private show put on by BBC Radio 1 and Kerrang! - only 75 pairs of tickets were given out. In the end, around 80-100 people showed up. A lot of people didn't attend because they were outside of London and the public transportation system in the region was messed up after 9/11.
    - Before the show, Linkin Park rehearsed 'My December' at the soundcheck, which is shown in a soundcheck photo of Mike. The song was added to the setlist the following night in Manchester.

    - The setlist changed for this show, with 'Step Up' being dropped completely, taking it down one song. 'By Myself' was moved to the encore.

    - The band debuted a new show intro for this show. This intro was popular for many years because of the Milano TV recording, but since this is the first performance of it, we have called it the Docklands Intro. The band went on to use it for the rest of 2001 after this show.

    - Right at the beginning of the first chorus of 'Papercut', Brad stops playing and has the band stop the song due to people falling down in the crowd. Mike and Chester talk for a few minutes about how fans should help each other out in the crowd before they restart the song from the beginning.

    - Evidence and Rakaa Iriscience from the Dilated Peoples came out and danced around on the end of 'High Voltage'.

    - Chester did not sing his usual vocal outro to 'In The End' at this show.

    - Before 'My December', Chester said they had only played the song twice since they wrote it (once the previous day in Manchester, UK and once at KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas 2000).

    - Joe's semi-famous Blow Your Mind interlude was first played at this show. It was used on-and-off for the rest of 2001 as well as during all of Projekt Revolution 2002.

    - Marky Chavez from Adema & Wes Scantlin from Puddle of Mudd joined the band on the bridge of 'One Step Closer'.

    Other Notes:

    - Fans attending this show had to sign a waiver saying they consented to being filmed for a Linkin Park DVD. This appears to be the first planned Linkin Park live DVD release that we know of. It is unknown why the show wasn't released. A lower quality version of the DVD was released on LPLive in September 2012 for the website's 6th anniversary.

    - 'With You' and 'High Voltage' from this show were released on the LP Underground 2.0 CD.

    - 'Crawling' was played during the soundcheck before the show.

    - This show was sold out.

    so the ozzfest is over. we're happy to be home, getting a little rest so that we can be fresh when we start the upcoming european and family values tours. we're hoping to do some cool new stuff on stage, and MAYBE even playing some older songs that we usually don't play. i don't know what it's going to be yet, but we are going to practice the e.p. songs to see if any of them work their way into the set. by the way, if you don't have the e.p., ask around on the messageboard for the mp3s. the songs are: carousel / technique / step up / and one / high voltage (original version) / part of me ...and there is a hidden instrumental track.

    - A review for this show says that Linkin Park won over the crowd and made it appear like it was a homecoming for them since they were so well received in Germany. Deftones had a lot of problems during their set - Chino was very drunk, his guitar wouldn't work and he had a roadie tying his shoes for him. Stefan and Chi were arguing over the setlist mid-show and due to Chi and Chino laying on the ground, Abe left the stage twice before the show was over.

The Frederiksberg cancellation was on September 7th, 2001, so we assume the Stockholm cancellation was around that time too (just before the tour began). In March 2016, a tour itinerary for this tour was obtained. Both shows are not listed and the first tour date in the itinerary is Hamburg. The only announcement we can find about the cancellation reads, "Because of the "restructuring" of their U.S. tour has Linkin Park decided to cancel their concert in KB Hallen 9 september. Since there is no immediate prospect of a replacement concert, the tickets will be refunded where they were purchased until 15 October." This show was not found by LPLive until late 2013 when a tour shirt from the Hybrid Theory European Tour was found on eBay that listed both Stockholm and Frederiksberg on it.

    - Due to the canceled Copenhagen show in 2003, Linkin Park did not return to Denmark until May 2007.

    2/08/01: MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA

    Styles of Beyond has finished their time on our tour, and we were all sad to see them go home. they are really nice guys, and put on an excellent show. i hear they're going to go home to save up some money and showcase for some more record labels, as they are as of yet an unsigned act.

    as for us, driving almost non-stop for days at a time with twelve people trapped in one vehicle with "the shining" playing in the background isn't one of the most ideal ways to travel. -hahaha- at least we got here; the drive from denver last night was pretty rough, especially in the snow. something froze in our septic system, and the bathroom smell kept rob and i from going to sleep for a while last night. but our bus driver (also named rob) managed to fix it eventually.

    but this past week, the shows in salt lake city and denver were awesome. some of the biggest crowds we've headlined for, and the energy in the room really pushed us to deliver. everyone in our bus and taproot's bus have been passing around a cold. chester and steve were having coughing fits yesterday. all of our guys slept about 12 hours last night, trying to fight it off. good timing for a day off. we'll gather our energy so we can give 110% at the show tomorrow night.

    i'm going to stop writing and go look at some of those art contest entries. good luck to all...

    - The band completely changed the setlist from the day prior. They experimented with a few different song variations at the start of Ozzfest 2001 and this was the most unique one. It is the only show we know of where Linkin Park started off a show with 'Points Of Authority'. For years, we thought 'Forgotten' might have opened this show but the taper of Source 2 confirms he was given permission to film the first three songs of the show ('Points Of Authority', 'Papercut', and 'With You').

    - This is the only time Joe ever played the LEE Interlude before a song other than 'Papercut'. At this show, it was before 'With You'.

    - Brad played a short guitar intro to 'By Myself'. After it, Chester remarked, "Did they put fuckin' quaaludes in the beer?"
