  1. If I get the premium package I take it I would loose my spot at barricade after the 1st 3 songs from the LPU early entry line and would most likely be all the way back from the crowd?

  2. I bet they play that new Hydro Arena in Glasgow...it looks like a place that would definitely book up LP.

Doubt it. I've given up hope that they would play in Glasgow. Since the last time they played there was 2004..

  3. I'm so ready for a new LPU though I'm trying not to get hyped too much for the CD so I don't get disappointed (meh) again. I've been with the LPU since the 5th year and counting only due to the surprise Mike chats, CD and the new addition "Early Entry" which I'm excited for. I also do have a guaranteed M&G to use up but I prefer barricade than M&G's so who knows when I'll use it.

Yes the LPU does have it's moments of being dead and not much going on in general but that's not stopping me from not being an LPU member since something exciting will always come up here and there.

  4. Ok, so the standard way to do this is to play in album order. But looking at the track order, I don't think it necessarily translates well to a live environment.

    • Papercut
    • One Step Closer
    • With You
    • Points of Authority
    • Crawling
    • Runaway
    • By Myself
    • In the End
    • A Place for My Head
    • Forgotten
    • Cure for the Itch
    • Pushing Me Away
I'm just wondering whether they'll change up the track order to make it feel more like a mini-set. There's plenty of ways you could arrange this, but for example:

    • Papercut
    • Forgotten
    • With You
    • Runaway
    • Points of Authority
    • By Myself
    • Crawling
    • Cure for the Itch
    • Pushing Me Away
    • In the End
    • A Place for My Head
    • One Step Closer

I think LP should perform it in album order including the available intros/outros and I'm sure for the second half of the set they will perform similar songs to the previous shows

  5. With Download 2014 being announced...LP usually drops a European Tour by doing 1 date at a time or so.

So let's guess along the way where they'll add a show at next, and when the last show will be, etc.

I'll start. Next I say is a show in France. I'd say Germany but fuck it I'll just guess something different. And I bet they'll do HT in full there too.

I'm hoping that the band will perform HT in full at 1 of there UK arena shows since I'll be away on vacation that week but this is bothering me since I've never been/don't like festivals as well. This wouldn't bother me as much if there only performing there usual set..

  6. I Completely disagree. I had two early entry shows on the last two (Sydney and Melbourne arena shows). I rocked up about 30 mins before doors, and once inside the venue, went to the early entry door where I got barrier no problems. Sometimes Id camp out for hours before a show to get pushed aside by bigger people and miss barrier.

The way the early entry worked here in AUS, Doors for the venue would open at like 7:30, then LPU members would go to a seprate door for the early entry where they'd show one of LP's staff or secruity your LPU pass. Then about 10-15 minutes before the doors for the stage open, you'll be let in.

Sounds good. Do you think 3/4hrs sounds about right for me to start lining up at early entry? I'd imagine the UK arena shows should be no problem getting the barricade even though I managed a few times without early entry.

  7. I think the early entry thing is stupid, it just makes it a big clusterfuck of different lines, people in the wrong line, etc. I miss the good old days when it was first come, first serve basis to get to the front of the stage. It was like that from 2007-2011 and they started doing early entry in 2012 and continued it with 2013.

Even though you get let into the venue before the public does?
