i didn't know where to put it but, i noticed that the 2009 page don't have a tour summary, and since 2009 ended long ago i was wondering if someone have intentions of doing it , or if you would mind if i do myself for the website , i would love contribute in something like that

i was wondering, what do you expect for lp shows in the near or far future, other than setlist, because setlist isn't everything isnt it?

I would like, as a example, a better stage, something like winter arena tour 2008, but with more sceneography like in the meteora world tour, maybe more talking to the crowd.

 

then what would you want for the future?

btw, the live version on lpu 2.0 shouldn't be considered a different version?, i feel like it sounds quite different from the high voltage on OSC single.

lets thnkin something crazy and just say they'll do a FM/DBS mash up... with drum solo and scratch bridge... then it will be a lp song

i saw a concert (three days grace i think) where the lead singer did a song by himself on acoustic guitar in a big arena. it could work, i would just rage if it happened because i don't really care for DBS.

chris cornell usually do this too in middle of his setlist lol, XD here in chile he played almost 7 acoustic songs lol...

 

back on the topic i guess is quite difficult that chester plays a song from dbs in a lp set, but i would like that. or at least just a bit, as a intro or outro for a lp song, as do with FM.

 

anyway would be awesome an acoustic guitar + drums walking in circles

I have heard better midi's over the years..

it obious that you have heard better midis... but that's not the point, they're 8 bits version of the songs... recreating how it could be done in games at the end of 80'/start of the 90'. but most of the midis around the web are with far more bits than 8

i would like something like 2 remixes, 2 b-sides/demo/etc and 2 live tracks... is not that unrealistic, plus considering the 10th anniversary of HT, i gues the 2 live tracks could be HT songs with extenders?... as far from the remixes could be any song from meteora or mtm, and b-sides or demo as it was said it could be something lost from reanimation, a remastered she couldn't, or new demos, who knows... but that's what i would like

@ all the other south americans: before you get crazy about it again. LP might play this show but no one ever said they are NOT coming to your country. There's no official tour schedule out yet, so don't freak out please.

Most people have to travel to shows, either far or not far. Almost no one lives right by a venue where LP plays.

So if you would live in Brazil, say Boa Vista, and they'd play in Sao Paulo again. Would you travel there, despite it's very far, but it is in your country what you always demanded?

 

I hate those people that starts getting crazy for anything ... but you should put in south american fan's shoes... travel to other countries in south america is quite a luxury... most of people cant afford it, even grown up people with a good job. so keep that in mind, is not easy as is in other parts of the world... i guess the best thing that we could do as fans is just wait until the band says something about the topic =)

 

so @ south american fans... stay calm, we don't know really anything yet

 

and @ rest of the world... try to understand that we can't put travels from one country to other so easily as is done on europe, or how you travel from a state to another in the usa =P

they should do their setlists like Metallica, they practice every song before they go on tour and change the set for every show.

i think Metallica never plays the same set again.

but the 3 setlists are also OK, but maybe change them also a little bit like they did 2007 with 'QWERTY' or 2008 with 'We Made It'.

 

can't wait for the release of 'Blackbirds' sounds sweet so far

yeah, metallica do that, but i don't think that lp will ever do something like that. anyway they should play old songs medleys like metallica around 90'... so the hardcore fans could get what they want, and the band can play their singles just as they want lol...

But it blows me away at how something like Leave Out All The Rest could beat out Across The Line (wtf awesome fucking song) or this. Hmm.

 

mark i think this is rather easy to answer... they wanted to try different things and have an album totally different from the ones before. i guess in that way, putting loatr makes more sense than this new song =O. well at least i can understand it that way... but the band is making those songs make their way to the fans in some other releases =P so they couldn't blame

i know is quite imaginary... but at least would be playable if the band wanted to lol... they would play almost everything important plus having the space to show 4 new songs, maybe 5 if you erase across the line i hope someday they realize that they should play medleys of their olders albums

Torrents work too but we have to have an alternative too. Lots of people (including me because I am at college) don't or can't use torrents.

 

No specific date yet. We actually haven't heard a peep from the LP camp on this release other than Mike and Rob giving very vague info in the LPU chats. January is my guess.

i think it would be a good idea to get some people for making mirrors. that way we would be better for all =). i guess with torrent + 3 servers (MU, RS, Sendspace, for example) would be great =D. i gladly help with that

why is everybody complaining about Rapidshare?

Megaupload is SO DAMN SLOW (15 kb/s most of the time)

i guess thats for you, i download in megaupload at 80 kb/s most of the time o.O and now with the premium link generator i download up to 200 kb/s
