  1. I have explained in details about the show...the thing is... it MAY exist or not. The band tried to find it (supposedly for M20 release) but haven't found anything.

It also doesn't mean it doesn't exists. They have a lot of physical tapes in storage as well and it's a matter of finding it maybe  or really it's gone.

Fiore might have something but also doesn't means it is FULL.

    Time will tell.

  2. Everyone wants the video, but nobody want to put effort on anything. I have experienced that with the LP community a lot before. I have created a pettition for the Brazilian 2004 video (https://www.change.org/p/linkin-park-release-the-linkin-park-s-2004-brazilian-concert) and the numbers are still small, since 2021.

The band release stuff under Warner and  the label must see the importance of that  and find a way to make money with it, thats the only way stuff are going to be released. The band wont post anything just to supply our needs. The "noise" must be BIG.. not 500 fans. if you get what I mean =]

I think this is the best description I have ever seen about Brazil 2004. Thank you Felipe. Maybe one day we got more from this show (unfortunately I was too young and I wasn't well informed to go: what a shame)

This is the known snippets from RedeTV, TV Fama show (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKvFddcsdms). I don't think these are "extra snippets of poa" that Felipe said, but these aren't in the show page here: could you update please?

2:05 Step Up/Nobody's Listening/It's Goin' Down (It's Goin' Down final part) while the reporter is talking

    2:16 Lying From You

    2:38 Don't Stay

    2:51 Lying From You (again)

    3:16 Points of Authority

Seems like there are some parts where the video doesn't match the current song. Something like illustrating the show by presenting different video snippets with a song from the same show in the background. First because the second snippet from LFY and POA, where it seems to happen. Second because the many changes in the camera position in POA (they recorded the stage screen and then from different positions, which makes no sense because I think they were allowed to record with just one camera).

What happens in these RedeTV snippets is:

LP allowed everyone to tape "Dont Stay" and "LFY" , then they got kicked from the FOH area. As you can see, Papercut were taped from the crowd, big screeners. Because the camera men got kicked and turned his camera on to make some extra scenes (same case with the mtv guy). But I highly doubt they recorded any full song from the crowd (taking the risk of the security find them and lost the tape).

It is totally normal you find during concerts people with professional cameras walking around the venue and taking small clips... Thats what happened in 2004 as well.

  4. Here is the thing with this legendary show:

1 - MTV was there, not only them but a few others like UOL, Terra, RedeTV and BandTV.

2 - The rules during concerts like that is: You can record snippets from the first 3 songs max (some cases 30 secs of each song - first 3). So it is a waste of time trying to convince these channels to share what they have.

The MTV's team who attended to the concert recorded snippets of the first songs as I mentioned, then they got kicked from the press area and went to the crowd. The camera guy turned on his camera and taped a few more songs, 2 or 3 extras. (Without permission). They used snippets of Papercut I bet, but they couldn't 't keep it in the archives as it was recorded without permission and no licensing paper. I went to the MTV Brazil years ago and grabbed what they had.  (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PTrlbonxDI). Thats ALL they have.

RedeTV must have some extra snippets of papercut and poa, but I wasn't able to obtain it YET.

Mark Fiore did record a few pieces as well as usual. But as far everyone knows, he didn't use to record the whole thing. (until 2012). I have talk to the event producer and he also doesn't have a copy and don't recall anyone recording it fully. Potentialy the band took the screen copy.

The band tried to look for this show as part of the Meteora20 release but they weren't able to locate it... So they don't even know if it really exists or not, but it is not in their archives. IF anyone else like Warner or whatever have a copy, it is not the band. Maybe it is lost in their HDD? Yes, but we will never know unless they find it.

The FULL show exists in AUDIO, a guy recorded it but he is a dickhead and I doubt he will ever trade/share/sell it.

Thats all about the show. It could be released someday, if it really exists, but for now, none can't confirm, including the band.

    End.

Every time I upload a new Linkin Park video never seen before on my channel, a Brazilian comes and asks me if I can upload the Linkin Park show in Brazil 2004, some think that I have the Show without knowing that only Linkin Park has them, When the thirty-minute Smoke Out Festival Show was released, the same thing happened again.

    Nope.. They don't have it.

  6. 2002 AUD I known about the existence are:

08.02.2002 Uniondale, NY, United States, Nassau Coliseum (video)
16.02.2002 Memphis, TN, United States, Mid-South Coliseum (Video and Audio) *Two different tapers
02.03.2002 Mexico City, Mexico, Foro Sol (Just rumours about a proshot but zero evidence).

San Diego 2002 audio exists too in audince format.(Yes, same show used on dvd)

Funny Story about Mexico 2002... Me and Mark got scammed in 2006 by a guy who clamed to have a copy. We sent him a few bucks and then he disaparead. (Yes, we had little experience with negotiating stuff like this back then LOL)

Edit: Added San Diego 02 info)

  7. My ranking is the same as xxHybridXeroxx! I watched them all in order and got amazed by all of them.... But when Denver started, dammmm... Chester is screaming on every single word of every song LOL.

It's def insane! Philly show if very important for me because its the Summer Sanitarium Tour, one of my fav ones and we have a very small amount of videos from that tour.

Seoul is so cool, their asian tour kicked ass! I can't even imagine how the whole tour would be including the famous Buddokan shows.

Manila is "different". It has a different atmosphere, language barrier and such... And it is good to see how people react to the band live worldwide. Even considering the audio/mics a bit low volume (Manila show), I am 100% grateful for the shows picked up for the release. (not complaining about any show)

Very well choices by the crew!

I am praying the band start releasing stuff like that for the fan base... I love shows and we still have too much to watch.

    1. Denver

    2. Philly

    3. Seoul

    4. Manila.

  8. Thats crazy! None in the room would ever imagine LP would become so BIG not too long after that. I am sure anyone here who had a moment with the band in 2000/2001 experienced something really special.

They were always good people during M&Gs, even in 2017, etc. But bringing fans to their backstage room and having fun, thats really something that could have happened only in 2000/01.

  9. I like the way you decided to release it... Picking an excellent date, etc. It's really great when something like this comes from a true LP fan! I have met so many tapers over the years, I couldn't even count how many filmers, tapers and shows I have found so far and 80% of them are from people who don’t necessary like the band... Also maybe that's the reason there are a lot of recordings out there that have never been circulating, they just don't give a sh*t about it, etc. (So thanks again for releasing this gem)

Of course we also have rare cases where the tapes just get lost over time.
Like Smokeout 2003 proshot as an example... I still can't believe the company lost it. Trust me when I'm saying more than 20 LP concerts would have been released if the tape didn't get lost.

Warner is another big example of losing tapes LOL.
