    Holy shit batman, you all need to shut the fuck up.

     

    Who cares if Chester doesn't sound perfect live. That's just more fact for me to feed on that Linkin Park is one of those bands where they actually sing their songs live, and don't lip sync. I remember back in the day, people complained that Chester sounded TOO good and that he lip synced. Now all of a sudden he sounds like shit and needs a training coach?

     

    I wouldn't mind taking your ticket to see Chester sing live. Really, I don't. While I'm watching Chester sing and not hit some of those notes in songs, all of you can come on LPL and bitch about how Chester didn't hit those notes. I'll go listen to my crappy Chester sing, and you go listen to your AMAZING Lady Gaga sing.

    pretty funny when you think about it.

    i had 3 tickets for free from the lpu back in the day for the hamburg show. it was like my 4th concert (while i'm about to break the 100 this year) and i clearly remember the rowdy crowd but what made this night even more special was the meet and greet. it was backstage, really intimate, small and AFTER the show with the guys sitting behind the table and a line of people that was roughly 20 persons long. even the support act "emil bulls" were in this line. i got my hybrid theory tab book signed and remember phoenix (i think he was it) asking me if i could play all of those.

    mike was the last one at the table and he was fooling around with the rest of the band but when i stopped by i told him how much linkin park's music helped me and what it means to me. he became all serious immediately, shook my hand and thanked me. there is a photo of this handshake in existence on my harddrive and i have to smile everytime i look at it :).

     

    those were the days.

    Wow, that's really cool :) I was a little bit sceptical about the public reception of "The Catalyst", but it seems like it is turning out pretty well...

     

     

    Didn't you say you liked the song after its release?

    Yes, but I also said that after my "OMG NEW LP MUSIC" phase died down a bit, it was one of my least favorite LP songs.

     

    I'm surprised it's doing so well, but good for LP. :)

    How is P.O.D a one-hit wonder? Alive, Southtown, Boom, Satellite, Youth of the Nation, Rock the Party?

     

    AFI is also not a one-hit wonder, girls not grey, miss murder, and silver and cold all charted well.

    You are right! For P.O.D, I only remembered Youth of the Nation. And for AFI, I only remembered GNG.

    Disturbed isn't a one hit wonder, that's for sure. Even if they had a hit track 20 years later after their first hit, that automatically takes them off the one hit wonder list.

     

    Most one hit wonders come from the hip-hop scene. Some artists that I remember having one hit wonders...

     

    Eiffel 65, AFI, Alien Ant Farm, Baha Men, Danity Kane, Amy Winehouse, Big Tymerz, Cascada, Crazy Town, Dirty Vegas, James Blunt, P.O.D

     

    Probably missing a shitload.

    Am I the only one who thinks this might be a song they might actually not play live?

    You probably are the only one. It's a given that this song will be played live. It would be extremely stupid to promote the albums first single like they are, and not even play it live.

     

    I can promise you, The Catalyst will be played live.
