Now, having listened to all the clips released, I wonder how the one that had the Outro Drums and "Lift Me Up, Let Me Go" in it will connect to the 40 second clip we have now. This song is going to be epic crazy.

I think they can't reach more like 80 minutes... but I'm not sure

80 minutes is the max for each CD unless they overburn it, which a record label wouldn't do. They would just split it up to 2 CDs or ask LP to cut a track. Back to topic, the tracklist is epic and I can't wait to hear "The Requiem" (I'm guessing an intro like "Session"), "Robot Boy", "Jornada Del Muerto" (The name makes it sound like it will be a slow, eerie, haunting song), and "The Catalyst".

I know this feeling. Coheed & Cambria announced their album presale one week, then the next tour dates. Probably took about 100$ from me those two weeks. Totally worth it down the road. I wonder what kind of venues LP will hit this time around..? Will they hit the secondary markets like they did with the MTM winter tour or a full blown scale tour..? I want them to be in top form at Projekt Rev. I just think their 2008 PR performances were lackluster from start-finish unfortunately

I'm thinking a full blown 2010 Winter Tour (Dec - Feb) or (Late Jan - Early March). They will probably hit all primary markets and hit a few secondary markets here and there. Maybe an Asia tour during the Spring and then Projekt Rev. 2011 during the Summer. They will have about 1 - 2 month break in between each tour. Hopefully they won't burn as quickly and put on a great festival. 2008 was terrible when compared to 2007. 2007 had great bands, great vibe, and amazing energy. They killed it then, and hopefully they will bring that same energy this Winter.

You realize that the majority of presale tickets end up in the possession of scalpers, regardless of whether or not the presale is LPU-exclusive, right?

 

I honestly believe that the concert industry should do away with presales of any kind, it only makes it more difficult for the average concert-goer to get their hands on the tickets they want.

This. I also hate how they announce tour dates and then tickets go on sale the next day. Some of us don't have money just sitting and waiting to buy concert tickets. Thankfully, with this little notice by Mike, I know they will be announced soon and I can put back some money to get pit!!!

I've never been big on CD singles, unless it has something unique on it. I will be skipping out on this one and either DL'd it from Amazon or iTunes.

The shirt is defiantly "meh". The album art reversed looks amazing. I'm going to get the CD+DVD set more than likely. I would love the deluxe fan edition but I don't care for vinyls and I'll probably be able to get the art book off of EBay. I wonder, will the CD+DVD Combo and Deluxe Fan Edition be available at other retailers or just exclusive through linkinpark.com?

It's not as awe-inspiring as I would have hoped, but I do see the new direction that LP is taking with this CD. They are going into the experimental/electronic/conceptual type of music/art and I couldn't be any more excited about it. BRING ON THE CATALYST!!!

I'm am also gonna say that this is the outro. On the drum stems that are used in the snippet are labeled "Outro Drums". One would just have to assume they were telling the truth.

I wonder how much longer from now? I love how LP is making the pre-release for this album all fun & games. It is keeping the fans entertained and it is just 1 1/2 weeks until we get our first single!!!

Lol. Sorry, I didn't see that. The tweet I saw it on said the new track list clip so I assumed it was released yesterday. Anyways, the video wasn't on here yet and it is the first footage of it in the game, so what is everyone's problem anyways? Is the DS Syndrome rubbing off on everyone?
