  5. APFMH is our circlejerk here on LPLive. I have to say some of my favorite shows had it but my most favorite didn't. It's an epic live song. The band constantly dropping and adding it over the years makes it one of the most wanted songs, you never know when it returns and it's always a surprise. You can't deny that it's definitely a fan favorite but it wouldn't be as special anymore if they kept playing it as often as One Step Closer. What I expect from an LP shows is that I see them play something new that I haven't seen yet preferably something new, or something old that I didn't see yet, and sadly they are doing neither on this tour. That's what I loved about the Minutes To Midnight touring cycle, on every tour I saw them they added some new MTM songs.
  6. You are right it is slightly overrated BUT still an epic live song, the major problem is still that they cut Hunting Party songs while being on the Hunting Party Tour and after this touring cycle is done the chances of any of the other songs being performed live are very slim. This tour was the perfect opportunity to add more Hunting Party to the set, which everyone expected and they even said so several times. There's absolutely no reason for them to not add more songs but they did the exact opposite by cutting some. They were already lazy for the European tour, they didn't take the time to rehearse new stuff, I can understand that in some way and thought that was ok if they did something new for the US tour. But they didn't! They had plenty of time to learn new stuff, change the sets, do something different. Adding FTI and APFMH is such an easy change, they could add it mid tour without rehearsing.
  7. It's not very close (depending on the venue and where they set it up) but still a great spot, slightly elevated position, unobstructed view over the entire floor. Actually behind FOH is a pretty shitty spot.
  8. Other bands are not new, we had this starting with the Carnivores tour.
  9. "Wasting time" with Blackout and Robot Boy is one view but they serve as transition and intro to ACT 2 and 3, which I guess gives them a little room to breathe in this set since there are no breaks between the songs. Both are less than 2 minutes long and visually incredible imo. The song that wastes the most time is still the ballad medley. The whole COG and Ballad part takes up 10 minutes.
  10. and they have every right to be. As epic as APFMH is, it can't make up for all the other good stuff that they cut. If it wasn't for the song you'd say that the set is even worse than before. Europe and Carnivores had more Hunting Party songs than this Hunting Party tour, and just like Astat already said, what a complete rip off that there's no new song even though they advertised it on social media. I'd almost say that they added APFMH to manipulate us into liking this tour.
  11. Please avoid conversations in here, I didn't forget to add it, just didn't get around to add it until now.
  12. Is the name of the intro song "Analog Beaches" or "Analog Beaches Intro"? I assume Someday Soon was not the remix, does anyone know?
  13. It's funny how APFMH turns the quite hated and worn out boring Set A into awesome Set A all the sudden. Really weird that Rebellion is not in this set, which is their current single lol. If UIG is back it would be nice if they did the full version again, I think it's a great live song. Why would APFMH be the "new" song? That doesn't make any sense, they don't really need to rehearse it and wouldn't advertise it on social media if it wasn't a truly new song. Do we know for sure that they didn't drop anything? The set feels a little short to me.
  14. They'd have to drop 2 full songs for ALITS or shorten like 4 more songs to make room for it. They should finally bring out Rakim at one of the shows, this is ridiculous that this hasn't happened yet. On the other hand that's Mike's big moment in the first song of the set.
  15. I read the altwire version first, of course I didn't read this one here again, and there it says: Maybe they fixed this afterwards It's been said many many times, it's impossible for an internationally touring band to play 300 shows within a year. So do you also believe LP was founded in 1998 because their merch says so?
  16. Doesn't look to good for any major touring in March/April unless they announce it veery soon. And they already announced a few shows that happen after this time period.
  17. No, he actually said 300 days on the road, which Chester kinda confirmed and is not too far fetched.
  18. Yes. WMG. Luckily not a strike, just blocked worldwide.
  19. I think this is all just Brad and Mike, or what part do you mean exactly?
  20. Just got a copyright claim for the RTR Workprint for SOTD, no idea what took them so long.
  21. Not only that it was never explained, which they should have, keeping everyone waiting and dropping songs. The weirdest part to me is still that the show the day after in Tampa everything seemed totally fine like nothing ever happened.
