  1. I get that, but I would still much rather have Meteora-era stuff. Like you said, Meteora sounded like Hybrid Theory, but who knows what awesome b-sides they scrapped (see:Halo) because Warner never would've let LP put them on the album? She Couldn't proves that even in the pre-MTM time period they were making non-heavy, alternative stuff that doesn't sound like HT, and I would love to get to hear some of that.

This. Many people are curious about the "sophomore album" that was scrapped in favor of Meteora. Many people also believe that Meteora was a record label album, and all of the creativity was turned down in favor of sonic copies of Hybrid Theory tracks (In The End - Somewhere I Belong) (Pushing Me Away - Numb). They created a really unique guitar effect in Somewhere I Belong, so you know they were pushing to try something different. They probably had great lyrics for the song as well, but the chorus ended up being "I wanna heal, I wanna feel". Breaking The Habit and Nobody's Listening had unique instrumentals as well. Plus, check out the booklet of Meteora. Don't Stay was originally supposed to have reggae elements. Halo uses a coin/metal clinking sound effect throughout the song.

Meteora had some crazy ideas. Sadly, they were never executed.

  2. 01. The Requiem (new ending transition)

    02. Burning In The Skies

    03. Empty Spaces (a little bit longer, maybe 20 seconds longer, and a better lead in to WTCFM)

    04. When They Come For Me

    05. Robot Boy

    06. Jornada Del Muerto

    07. Waiting For The End

    08. Wretches and Kings

    09. Blackout

    10. Wisdom, Justice, and Love

    11. Iridescent

    12. Fallout (add the Oppenheimer speech at the end)

    13. The Catalyst

    14. The Messenger

  3. Honestly. I listened to the song when it first came out, and listened to it again today. I find it awful. One of the worst Linkin Park songs I have ever listened to behind Hit The Floor. I don't mean to troll but everybody worships this song. And the "heavy" bridge that breaks the indie-pop feel of this song is laughable. I didn't like this song a year ago, and still can't find good in it today. What's the big deal?

  4. Many people believe that we have all of the MTM b-sides that made the final 17. I don't think we do. We have the original twelve tracks that made the final cut, we have No Roads Left, Blackbirds, Across The Line, and What We Don't Know. Could it be possible that the last track is Grecian? In the DVD, the seeds of songs that we got to hear were from Blackbirds, Across The Line and Grecian, so could it be possible that Grecian is the last track?

If you disagree, do you have an idea of what the last track is?

  5. For me, November 22nd is tomorrow, but I too would like to wish TRT a happy anniversary. Holy crap, time flew by. I remember when the album first dropped. It was so dope back when it first came out, and still is today. Alot of the music influenced and inspired me. I am proud to be a fan of Fort Minor. If Mike and crew released another album I would go nuts, but for now, I doubt The Rising Tied will ever bore me.

  6. Haha oh yes. I forgot. The traditional "zomg this dude has 1 million posts he is the freaking man and your a newb who just joined" among Linkin Park fansites.

Just because i'm new doesn't mean i'm not allowed to have an opinion. I chose this site after leaving the LPA. If I don't like a song, I can say so. I'm not trolling and i'm not breaking any rules.

  7. Now I can see why you chose your LPL name to be Mystery. Your hatred against ATL is baffling and it cannot be explained. That is quite a Mystery. I'm guessing you are a major fan of Not Alone, OR just a complete fucking "ruhtard." LPUX and LPU 9 can't be put in the same sentence. As a matter of fact, let me fix your inaccurate math equation

    LPU9 > LPUX < LPU9 - ATL

Actually my name is Mystery because that has been my username for years now, and I go under that name in my new music project coming soon.

Not Alone fan? Not at all. I wish they never released Across The Line. It may be creative and different on their part, but of all of their songs it doesn't sound a thing like them, in a bad way. It's a bland track with half decent synth and electronic work, and the worst MTM b-side out yet. We all have our opinions here, so don't try to bash me and pun my username, Mr. Clean.

    I like your math equation, but it's a little unbalanced;

    LPUX > LPU 9 > LPU9 - ATL

There now we have a true statement. Your inaccuracy baffles me.
