I changed my profile pic after that post. It had Mikes artwork before :-D You think everyone knows LPFC? We have just a small percentage of your amount of followers on Twitter, I'd rather be humble, hahaha Derek sent me some questions and I picked some of them and mixed them with my own ones. His were the medley/short versions question. I mostly chose live questions cause they are currently touring a lot. No idea how other writers do it, but I usually pick a theme for interviews that fits the band's current projects. I only managed to ask about half my questions though. It's so hard to guess how many questions someone can answer in ten minutes. I'm glad he didn't reply in only one or two short sentences, lol.

Lol, I don't expect anything at all. As I explained on Twitter, I misread the first part and thought you made a mistake. I apologized for that. You didn't even have to mention me at all. I don't mention interviewers of other magazines, so all is fine. I don't expect a tiara XD. As to the sentence you quoted, maybe read the full post. I wrote about knowing this topic would raise a discussion when he replied to me. I don't expect anyone here to know I am the interviewer as my username is different to my real name. Now calm down, please, it was a misunderstanding and I'm actually very thankful that you wrote such an elaborate post about the interview.

Psst, guys, i was the one who did the interview. I hope you like the questions, I already knew when he replied that the non exisiting setlist change would start a discussion :-D I liked the set for the two shows I attended this tour, but I feel sorry for people like Jonas or Corey who do tons of shows without much change in the set. I hope they add at least one or two new songs.

I think we should just accept that Linkin Park have other priorities right now. They concentrate on new music and for that they need the studio time.

1. The Las Vegas Show was promoted as the only show in the US this year 2. LP have said in recent interviews (the last one just a few days ago) that there will be no touring this year, but studio time. I'd expect a single show or two (like Japan in August), but no full tour 3. Several of the crew members have stated that there will be no tour for at least 5 months. Doesn't the HCT start in July? 4. From a PR perspective it would be totally stupid to do this big "guess the headliner" campaign, if it's the same headliner from last year. Don't forget that the US doesn't only have LP fans. All the other rock fans will be furious if it's LP again. I think as long as there isn't a clue that leads directly to LP, no other options, we can rightfully assume that LP won't do the HCT this year.

The fact that it was removed doesn't mean it's fake. Eventually we have no idea of knowing for sure, if any of the leaked album titles are fake or real. At least "Prototype" doesn't sound like a mental illness, as "Metalepsis" did... XD

I think Mike said once that he can't sing "No Roads Left" (in full) because of his asthma. I'm not sure though, cause I didn't hear/read this myself. I'm not that excited about SIB or POA, With You would be cool though, but I think the guys are really unpredictable and I guess the last decisions are often made pretty spontaneously.

I wish it were a remix album, but somehow I have a feeling that LP won't do that again. It also could be something like a Tour Documentary, but it's true that it would be weird to announce that before it's shot. I've collected some funny ideas of LP fans on Twitter and put them up in a poll. Don't take them all serious! Actually I don't think you'll have trouble, because video footage of the summit is always uploaded by everyone, who cares if it's 20 minutes or 2? Hamburg will get the setlist from Leipzig. That was a great set and will make everyone really happy tonight. XD EDIT Forgot to mention, LPfan1989, who posted here that she couldn't get a ticket, because she's in a wheelchair, was personally invited by Mike to attend the show! That was sooo nice of him!

I was just thinking the other day, that it would be really easy to spice the setlists up a bit. For example, Mike could include his awesome verse of the Get Busy Committee Remix into "Wretches & Kings". Also, they could just take any old song and make an acoustic version out of it, like they did with "Pushing me Away". Or they could remix an old song so that it sounds a bit fresher, kind of like making an "A Thousand Suns" version out of it. Everybody would freak out if they did something like this, especially as after the ATS World Tour and North American Tour things are getting kinda old.

Not that I think that LP ever have problems with this, but actually a bands chart performance influence for example how many shows an artist can play, so that shouldn't be underrated. I just wanna support LP, a good chart performance is just a good side effect.

I'm working on that. As of now I have the blog post of course, people on Twitter know about it, I've created a Facebook event (liked by Pooch! XD). I guess in the end, it all depends on if the major LP fansites (LPL, LPT, LPA, MSC etc.) support it and post it on their sites.

You don't have to force anyone, well, of course, that could work as well.... This is just about promotion, tweet about it, post on Facebook, request the song at your radio station. Stuff like that. Fans of other artists are doing that all the time (e.g. next week for Rihannas new single). The aim is first, to let people, that like Linkin Park (not necessarily hardcore fans), know that BITS is released that day, and second, to get a higher chart position by making people buy the single during the same week. Do you know what I mean?

I think it would be better for the single release, because the actual idea behind it, is to make people buy the single so that it would enter the charts on a higher position.

I like that idea! I leave it up to discussion. There's still enough time to agree on a hashtag. Also, big question: Will LPLive support BITS Day?

I was thinking that it would be cool to make a special "Burning in the Skies Day" when the single is released on March 21, to promote BITS online as much as we can, e.g. by getting it to trend on Twitter, etc. I've listed some of my ideas HERE. Do you have more ideas? Also it would be really cool if the major LP sites (like LPLive XD) would help, too! Fans from other artists do things like that all the time and I bet it would really help to promote the single.
