  1. Hi everyone,

back in July I ordered all four ATS packages, including t-shirt, deluxe album, skate deck and more...

I expected it to ship around the release date of ATS in September, but I haven't seen any of the items yet! I live in Denmark, so I know it's a long way from LA, but the last LPU years it didn't take any longer than 2 months for the package to arrive.

I'm confused, have you all got your preordered ATS album??

    Peace, Dennis :)

  2. From Blabbermouth.net:

As a special "thank you" to concert-goers, included as a bonus with the purchase of every ticket, fans will be able to download a live recording of the show they attended by texting a code from their mobile phones that will be displayed at the venue.

Is this different from how they did it in Europe or is this the same?

Yeah, in Europe you had to buy the DSP either at the concert or online afterwards.

This time, it seems that the DSP is included in the ticket price - AWESOME :D

  3. I don't wanna sound greedy (especially since I haven't actually purchased the CD, I'm going to though), but I am very disappointed...

(If I'm wrong, correct me) They told us we'd get 10 unheard and new demos, what we got was:

    6 Instrumentals

1 Previously Released Song (This Year)

1 Remix (99% Identical to Other Version)

1 Demo to a Song We've Had 3 or More Demos to, and Sounds Nothing Like the Others (If you listened to both, there's no way you'd tell they're related)

2 Full, Finished, Non Remix, Never Released, and Non Instrumental Songs

I liked it for the most part, but expected more, for being the 10th year, after all, and them saying this years CD was THE BEST.

Excuse me, but who said a demo can't be an instrumental track?

A demo is a recorded "song idea", not neccesarily including vocals...... :)

  4. hey guys!

going to keep this brief for now - bro and i left london this morning and just arrived in paris... so we're a little tired, a little under the weather and really, really hungry!

yesterday and last night were absolutely incredible. the entire day was definitely a one of a kind experience. got off to a shaky start - breakfast didnt happen - and with all the queuing and waiting we did - we didn't eat lunch either...

the activities that everyone was supposed to be able to choose one thing from got cut off early so a lot of us missed out... however, they well and truly made up for it once we were inside. others have already said what happened in there so i won't go over it again... but suffice to say, forgot how hungry i was the moment we stepped inside the O2 ;)

i was fortunate enough to win the backstage tour led by mike not once, but 5 times lol. guess that's what happens when you drop 80 pounds on raffle tickets :S good thing is i got to take my bro with me and gave one of the tickets away to a disabled lady - i hope she enjoyed it as much as we did. it was a very insightful and friendly backstage tour... some of the stuff mike and the production team discussed was incredible and very eye-opening.

i've got a lot of this, as well as the acoustic performance, soundcheck, q&a, etc on video. unfortunately, given we are still away from home for another 2 weeks - it's going to be fairly difficult for me to process and upload... but i'll do my best to give you guys some snippets of it when i can.

my brother and i also had VIP tickets, so once the summit finished and we fed our hungry guts at gourmet burger king (seriously, how good is that place!?)... we got led in by hugo to the actual actual back stage - im talking where all the guitars, etc are kept. they also took us on stage to get a photo with the crowd behind us, took a couple of pics of both of us holding mike and brad's guitars... very awesome! got to meet a lot of the crew, got taken into the catering room, pooch's mixing room, etc, etc. all of them were absolute gentlemen and went above and beyond expectations to make sure my bro and i were happy with the tour... also got given some drumsticks, a set list, a music for relief shirt and a signed photo... very impressed! we then got led into the venue and had to wait for pooch to get into the mixing area where he collected us and let us watch the show from directly behind him.

it was an absolute experience and a half neither of us will ever forget.

absolutely huge respect for mike, hugo, pooch and the rest of the production team for being so accommodating throughout the day and for being absolute gentlemen (and ladies!).

also adam - well done for being able to keep your cool with all the stuff-ups that were happening... i think given it was your first summit you did an exceptional job and should be commended for it.

PS. mike made mention near the end of the show about all the people who had travelled from around the world to come to the summit - he mentioned almost every country except ours!!! lol. poor aussies!!! ;)

PPS. guess that wasn't so brief lol

And that was what you outbid me for on the Charitybuzz Auction - SO JEALOUS I'M TELLING YOU :)

But I'm glad you liked the "prize" :) Peace bro..

  5. guys, of course it is wrong place to ask, but i wanna know. I ve just selected for MFR booth in Abu Dhabi, but ive already got the ticket, and im not selected for M&G, so i am asking, is the MFR a good opportunity to see band, and maybe have something signed?

I don't think there is any chance of meeting the band through the MFR charity project. The MFR booth is placed somewhere around the venue where everyone has access to it, the band is behind closed doors.

I attended the M&G in Hamburg, Germany this year, and there was a loooot of security and like 10 doors between the band and everyone else..

    Sorry :)

  6. HELP!

I am very confused with this whole LPUX thing - and I really need some clarification..

I preordered LPUX a couple of months back, when it was available - an annual membership for $60.

Now, I got a redeem code to activate my membership. I used the code, but it changes nothing before the next couple of weeks, right?

Next, of course I want to buy the LPUX CD, but how can I do that now? I can purchase the Annual Membership + LPUX CD for $65 on LinkinPark.com, but it doesn't make any sense since I've already paid $60 for preordering the membership.

Can someone sort thing out for me, please? :)

  7. I think the pessimists need to settle down. Does any other band even think about releasing an underground CD every single year? We're getting 10 songs. 10. So what if some are instrumentals, or sound similar to previous ones. We need to take a step back and be truly grateful that Linkin Park goes through all of this trouble to release these from their vault. They don't have to, but they do anyway

    So true!

  8. So I just ordered the whole damn package, 4 pieces of goods for me :)

$229.99 + shipping and handling $55.90 for Europe.

LP, you're worth every single cent!

I usually order the greatest package available, and I've got LPU9 Vinyl limited 1000 copies, LPU8 plate and so on, but this sure tops everything. Can't wait for my package to arrive :)

Probably gonna pick up the album at a store anyway, can't live knowing that I didn't get it at the release, LOL :)

    Happy holidays everyone :)
