I liked LPU8 too, funny as hell.

I know! I thought it was pretty great and it sounds fun. People were so mad about LPU7 and they wanted something new...well they got it with LPU8! Ungrateful bastards, lol.

As much as I love the new ATS stuff over old music, a part of me really wants to know what the '97 demo is like! Wondering if it's anything like the Xero sampler tape or more like Dedicated '99.

It's Ree's to keep or share as she wishes, she bought it after all. Anyway, there were supposedly 250 copies at the Summit, I'm sure another one will turn up online soon.

I can not understand what you want more... before you complain that we wanted the songs, not songs live (remember LPU 5 and LPU 7). Now that the CD has more demos than before you complain? If Across The Line was released well before the release of LPU 9, you would complain as much as ever complained about having a song called (in this case, Pretend To Be)?

I think we're all just frustrated, that's all. LPU hyped it up so much and it doesn't seem like it delivers to its full extent. Also, we've been waiting for a few months and we STILL can't hear it yet. It could have the greatest instrumentals in the world, but we wouldn't know, would we?

Unfortunately, we CAN'T listen because no one has it and the people that do are getting their money's worth by not sharing it (which I can understand).

So I think until it actually leaks, people will complain and pass judgment pretty much to pass away the time for waiting.

Wow. 6 instrumentals out of 10 songs? WTF. Are you kidding me? This is supposed to be the best LPU CD to date? When they said bsides that come from each CD I thought they meant like, songs that barely didn't make the cut for Meteora or something. a 1997 Coal instrumental is cool. But you're telling me LP has no other full bsides? What? That makes no sense. $60 and a CD that very likely might not even beat LPU9?

 

Need to hear this CD immediately but so far the reviews of it are astonishingly bad. I can't believe there are 6 instrumentals.

Can't wait to hear how LPUHQ justifies this one!
