    Username of your nominee: Legend

Which prize they would receive: LPU CD's

Reason: Every forum has a member that just sticks out. The member that people gravitate to or that they wait to see a reply from. I think Legend is that guy. I think every thread I visit has his mark in it. Whether he's proving a point or just cracking a joke he always has a solid entry. I see he's a VIP. I'm assuming he paid for that title but it almost feels like his contribution via posts alone earn him that title. He gives the site so much, and wether you hate him or love him(i really hope your a HIM btw) he does whatever he fights for tremendous justice.

I don't think I've ever had any sort of contact with Legend, which might be a good thing, but he seems mildly cool and with a 1041 post count (and growing)[epicnessosity] I feel its safe to say that his seemingly obsessive dedication shall not fade into the threads of yesterday, he shall forever remain...a Legend. [/epicnessosity]

  2. i don't think you guys need to be worried about the bands future. Sure, they were arguing but i think that's soemthing that's happened with every album. it has to be, people get annoyed after a while. i think moATS was the first time we really see them getting pissed. i just think they went from OH MAN I LOVE MAKING NEW MUSIC to Oh shit wb and ea want us to make a single and we've got nothing it's blah blah blah's fault, everyones angry... chester says something smart and the end.

major let down. lol. oh well, album is still banging

  3. i'll say this. black out is not hardcore by any means. chester doesn't belong on the track and thoes who say the ending is weird, the ending is the part that feels like it belongs the most.

all the intermission tracks make the album sound like its restarting. they all sound like intro's rather than interludes.

first two tracks should have just been one.

To me, the messenger was ALMOST epic. but i think chester oversang it. it pushed his vocals to far and it kind of hurt the track. it wasn't bad, but i felt like it was too much.

fall out and iridescent are basically throw away tracks.

the album is super soft. if you want hardcore you'll get about 2.5 tracks worth it.

    best songs?

    Burning in the Skies

When They Come For Me (Brad yelling in spanish)

    Waiting for the End

    Wretches and Kings

    Catalyst

    biggest let downs?

    Black Out

    Messenger

i can't tell you if this album is bad or good collectively because i don't know how i feel about it. you just have to decide for yourself. all i know is that I am let down a little.

  4. its funny. if all the 30 second samples sounded excellent, like in a way that everyone could agree, people would be like hell yea judge the 30 second sample. but since a lot of people don't like it, there is sort of like a cock block on the lp bashing train.

i mean i get it, it's annoying to come on a site dedicated to the band you love and people are just bashing it left and right, but i think its safe to have a little bit of opposition here and there.

anyways, in general the 30 second clips are supposed to display some of the strongest moments in the song, or parts that reflect the song as a whole. with that being said i feel like who ever edited out these clips didn't do that very well. and if these are the best reflection than lol the outlook isn't that good.

honestly i don't like what I've heard so far. There are a couple of good tracks but I haven't heard anything thats given me the rush that the catalyst, wretches and kings, or even waiting for the end gave me from their 30 clips. Oh yea, and I judged thoes songs by their clips and I loved them afterwards still.

I know there are a lot of changes in the music within the album tracks themselves but I'm hoping these clips are a failed representation of the album. Especially BLACKOUT. That synth totally undermines the entire "alleged" hardcore vibe of it.

  5. пожалуйста учи англиский. онлайн переводчик говно!!!

lol, did you assume somebody on this site would just know what you said?

especially after seeing all the english posts?

i don't want to see the movie, because it's saw... but i do wanna see how chester dies lol

  6. Cause he sounds like he's fucking Jamaican?

i'd say he sounds like he's from trinidad and tobago. his accent is much more refined and elegant like the the trini accent. the jamaican accent is just so rough and-- oh wait I(you) haven't even heard the whole song yet so how would I(you) be able to truly tell what he sounds like just yet?

stick that in your pipe and smoke it! B)

  7. i think that to an extent w&k was their old style refined. heavy riffs, in your face rapping, chester shredding the chorus. to me it kind of harkens back to the old doomsday type music we used to have, it's just that the delivery is different from chester and mike.
