Is Fort Minor defined as Mike's project regardless of who is with him or was it Mike with Styles of Beyond?

Could Mike have ditched SOB without even telling them about his upcoming project?

Is it all just a big hoax - but then Mike has been on social media today and if the Conan thing was total boll*cks surely he'd say?

He appeared to be on his own. Yet Chester seemed to be travelling with him yesterday.

This is probably going to be the most hyped thing in the LP community in quite a while, more so than Living Things and THP.

At the end of Piece of My Mind Chester thanks his wife but he didn't get married until 1996.

Nevermind, I think Shouting Out follows on from it and he's mumbling something about that being a joke and he has three wives... or something.

Oh to be a fly on the wall if Scott or Chester pass by each other.

I really don't think it's going to happen now.

Maybe they were trying for more dates but venues just weren't available at this late stage. Some forms of entertainment (comedy off the top of my head) announce tours years in advance!

It could even be a "ooooh look I've just put my new fort minor album up for free to download RIGHT NOW."

He's really heavily promoting his personal Twitter and Instagram recently, everything he does he mentions it.

I'm not overly thrilled about this new information I've learnt.

Do the others members do anything similar/equivalent?

What other singers do this?

How many song does Chester do this one then?

Meh. What Chester and Mike add to the song is fine with me. Everything else about this track is extremely forgettable. I've tried several times to get into Aoki's stuff and I've pretty much come to the conclusion that he's a great guy who puts on good shows and is smart at marketing himself...but he's just not particularly good at the kind of music that he makes. Pretty much any of the other "big-name" artists in the house/EDM style and all its subgenres (Avicii, Diplo, Skrillex, Zedd, etc.) do it better than Aoki. This song is basically one semi-interesting musical motif that SHOULD be about a 30 second portion of a bigger piece of music, that's somehow been drawn out to over 5 minutes in length. There isn't anything inherently BAD about what's in the song, it's just that what's there has no business lasting for as long as it does. The song really goes nowhere. ALTNC was way better.

 

...Now watch Geki accuse me of only liking Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Must be true, I'm on LPL right?

Fyi I like 95% of what LP does (I don't think in the future I'll really count this song as something LP did)

I thought it was a really good chat, Rob is so relaxed and honest and I actually believe in the next meeting he'll mention that the fans want to hear Keys to the kingdom and mark the graves.

A lot of information there, it's nice to know a little more about Rob.

Though I still have two pairs of the Mike Shinoda Clientelle DC's and I love them! I wished I'd got the Axel ones from 2003.

It also occurred to me that if Chester has been medically advised not to perform and he does it nulls his, WB, the tour and the venues insurance if he gets further injured.

I'm a little surprised Mike didn't do more for the situation other than repost a picture that Joe had posted. I don't know why I feel like that, perhaps because he's usually so vocal on twitter that I thought he might post something.

I'm really hoping they're going to come and play in my little town in England.
