So the album should be roughly an hour and 5 minutes if this is a general idea, but that's only if you don't factor in any extra tracks. You'd think they'd include even one THP song, Final Masquerade, Until It's Gone (without the weird baby sound) or GATS since I know they at least enjoy THOSE tracks.

 

I could see them doing 5 more tracks to bring it to 24. Less odd than 19 and more or their number of tracks in a setlist. 

So basically you made your own Greatest Hits album. LP doing an IKEA album, basically gave you the running order and you built it yourself on your streaming service!

This is why a GH album is absolutely ridiculous, I already have a this album saved as my personal playlist.

on topic; I was skeptical about the greatest hits idea but the rumour seems to have legs now. A greatest hits album is a stupid idea!!! 

Hi Geki! Are you like Beetlejuice, someone mentions your name and you appear!!? 😅 I concur with a lot of what you said, I love each LP album for different reasons.

If there is going to be a new release of some kind (I'm very pessimistic on this*), which band members are going to be involved? Or is it a Mike thing with Dave and Brad getting roped in for like one webchat?

*unless there are pressures from the record label I just really don't think Mike is interested in looking backwards right now, he's really trying so hard to push himself forward into a younger generation of music fans so I'm not sure why he'd revisit the past again. He doesn't want to deny LP and the platform it gave him but basically that's over now and he's trying to re define himself away from that.

This thread has gone on a real journey.

If you have a greatest hits album (why would you even bother in a would of streaming/playlist based listening) then surely you HAVE to have at least one song from each album?

To just ignore a whole body of work would be crazy! It'd be an interviewers first question to Mike!

Pooch and Rabold did a really great podcast during Covid Lockdown which covered microphones which was interesting. On Spotify and even YouTube (I think).

It'll just be Mike on his own with hired musicians.

Also the T shirt is really ugly. The whole blacked out thing except for his eyes is creepy. It looks like they ran out of time on The Apprentice and just went with what they'd got.

Ok... feeling like an old lady here asking a technology question.... I can't seem to join the channel. I keep clicking the 'Join Channel' button and nothing happens! Underneath it suggests I download Instagram which I obviously have.

Please tell me others are having issues and I'm not slowly morphing into my mother.

At the 50 second point of this complication video, where is it from? Seems like the same interview as the one a little further up but this 'Dare' section isn't included. Does anyone have the full interview of it? I want to see Mike's full impression of Chester!

I believe there's also another interview from this 'setting' where they answered married couple questions, so perhaps it was part of that.

I keep seeing in various places that Talking To Myself was written about Talinda's struggle to get through to Chester when he was despressed. This seems odd as he's not credited as a writer, is this a made up fact or does it have any basis of truth?

I loved the interview! The lady was so nervous bless her and only 23! It's crazy to think that Linkin Park has always been in her life, like Celine Dion is permenantly ingrained into me from my mum!

I'm now doing the same to my kids (current fav is Battle Symphony for them).

Really is nice to listen to someone else talk other than Mike! Doesn't really matter than nothing interesting was said.

But also, how he described Chester's vocals on Lost was lovely.

I'll keep dreaming for a Rob interview!
