he said the song was basicly simple guitar riffs/dj effects/heavy drums, started with rapping, then chours, then rapping, then a breakdown of all the intruments! 0.0 & then the chours again but rapping in the background to end it.

Sounds more like he was being a smartass.

They get tired of repetitive setlists, the band freshens it up by throwing new material on the setlist and STILL people complain. I cant wait till someone invents the time machine so all the LP fans who want older material played can go to 2000-2004 and stay there ffs.

Select ATS album tracks and "secondary singles" on rotation.

HT, Meteora, MTM album tracks on rotation.

And a few spots for a few special treats. Rarities, Reanimated songs, etc.

The "average fan" gets their hits.

The hardcore fans get their album tracks and rarities.

Everyone goes home happy and waits and wonders what the next setlist will be instead of expecting the same list again.

This set is only fresh because ATS songs are being played for the second or third time on a normal stage. In three years this setlist would be pretty meh .

After 10 years as a band that has spent more time playing live shows than making records, Linkin Park should be playing a completely different setlist every night. The "rotating setlists" cop-out isn't acceptable in a time when ticket prices are rising, people are struggling to get by, and bands are earning their living on the road.

Mike and Chester rapping together is a bad idea.

If only I lived in LA..

Good thing I'm signed up in the LPU until Sept. 2011. Plenty of time to go over things and try to justify the $60 price tag, before the shirt, CD, and such.
